Within 6 months the video stopped working. TCL said the panel has to be replaced and it’s almost a month I am waiting for the panel to be replaced. TV going faulty within 6 months and taking more than a month to replace the part is something seriously you should consider before buying this brand. Earlier I gave a very good review but didn’t expect the tv will stop working within 6 months.

The best part is SOUND quality..Harman kardon done its job...No doubt for picture quality fits best in this price and colours are also very nice..Viewing angle are also great..Those who are saying that it was not up to Sony or Samsung such peoples are not purchased this TV I think..And why are you trying to compare with Sony and Samsung first you have to compare the price you have to pay.. You have to pay more than 4 times extra for this size of TV.And in this price you are not getting and garbage..When I booked this TV I am also in a doubt what will I get?But after installation it fully satisfied to me..You want a big screen TV just go for it,nothing major difference you will get from Sony or Samsung..

Please don't buy this TV or any other TCL TV and save yourself from huge loss. TV worked fine for few months and i was quite satisfied with the overall performance (other than that it's headphone jack was not working). But afterwards heating issues started. Panel used to become so much hot that you couldn't touch it. Then suddenly while watching world cup match TV Panel burst by itself. Permanent lines (vertical and horizontal) started showing up on screen. From outside screen is intact but something happened from inside. (Refer to pictures i attached). TV was still under warranty. We called TCL Customer Care who were so slow in processing my complaint that it took them 2 months to finally send sombody to check the TV (that too after numerous calls and emails). The person who came did not listen to us and reported that we broke the TV. Now TCL is demanding huge amount to replace the panel and not ready to cover it under warranty. I wish i had cameras installed so that i could show them that panel burst by itself. Now i extremely regret my decision for trusting TCL and choosing their TV when so many other options were present. Please refrain from purchasing TCL TVs and save yourself from huge loss and big headache.

UPDATED REVIEW: 1 YEAR OF OWNERSHIPI am writing this review to appraise the naive customers about TCL televisions, the TV has issues with connecting to a wifi Network, it says connected but no internet. I have flagged the issue to both Amazon and TCL , Amazon has been kind enough however the TcL won't even listen, repeated calls fall on deaf ears, and nobody to listen Amazon has its own long and tedious process when it comes to large appliances. So my advice to all you out there don't go for cheap price..AFTER 1 YEAR.The TV itself is not too bad, picture quality is good ( don't compare it to a Sony please)Sound quality is awesome. After the initial internet hitches Amazon reassurance and online help, it is back on track.But the Support offered is not good.

Very good purchase, decent picture colour and clarity. Android TV there is a lot of features. Very neat design that adapts to the interior at par to LG n Ssung.Best part is the sound by HK which I liked the most. movies are enjoyable watching on it. Songs can be played reasonable very well.Not required for any sound bars additionally. Don't expect more at this price!!! There is a lot to explore on this TV.

Worst service. Panel gone within 2 months. More than a month but yet no response from tcl

The television far exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is superb. It displays 4k video flawlessly from Netflix, YouTube or usb drives. The clarity, colour reproduction and sharpness are unbelievable. The picture quality is at least 5 times better than my 60 inch VU 1080p TV. Every image is incredibly immersive and life like. The colours pop out of the screen.The Harmon Kardon soudbar in the TV produces rich and high quality sound. I have removed my dedicated soudbar which was used with my earlier TV. I have done extensive picture quality comparison with Sony and Samsung TVs and this TV seems to match them. In addition, the TV can play virtually any file type which is lacking on Sony and Samsung. The Android interface is super smooth with no lag and the built in file manager and Media Center are good as well. The TV comes with 2 remotes. One of them is voice enabled and has air mouse function. Voice recognition is very good and you can find YouTube or Netflix movies easily by doing a voice search. In addition it has Chromecast built in so you can stream from any device. The contrast and brightness are amazing. Blacks are super dark. The TV plays HDR content very well.On the negative side, the TV gets a little hot on the back if you stream 4k for a long time in hot weather. It doesn't affect its performance in any way though. Still, I turn on a portable fan on its back for a few minutes after each hour There are a few areas of backlight bleeding but you can only see them in total darkness. You can't see them during normal usage. I have seem worse bleeding on Sony and Samsung TVs so this is normal for large screen TVs.In summary this TV is a great value for money. You get great picture quality, great sound and all the smart features at less than half the price.

TV is good. Amazon is good. But what i don't understand is that Tv (android based) purchased from Amazon does not support amazon prime app apk ...........why ???
