Dance Dance Revolution PS3 with Dance Mat

I've been playing this game for weeks now and it is really good. Even with the move controller it is good you have to use your arms too! Make sure not to get confused though between legs and arms.The only issue I had is that the longer you play the more you move the mat and you always have to move it back otherwise you get too close to the the TV.

Having played DDR for years I was keen to get back on the wagon and spent a long time looking for this game and mat.Once the two were combined I was ready to go, the changes were very obvious - the music is very different, there's a lot more "western music" which obviously is meant to appeal to a wider audience in the UK/USA. When I found out this wasn't even sold in Japan it made it more obvious this wasn't intended to be like the older games. Some of the songs are good and upbeat but I'm baffled as to some of the choices, way too slow to be on DDR, it's a bit ridiculous.You can download 3 extra songs for free on PSN, and buy about 30 more for £18, these extra ones are classics from the old games as well but if you've paid full wack for the game, this feels like a money grabbing exercise by Konami. I'm lucky I found it second hand for a fiver.The mat is a big positive - much sturdier, it hasn't slipped once, we have laminate floors, the underside doesn't move at all for me.Once I realised you have to play club mode to unlock more songs I was not happy. You have to start on beginner level, play 32 songs to unlock one, when I've been playing for such a long time this felt like such a bore. You don't expect to have to grind in DDR, you want to just get up and dance, this takes the fun out of it. In the end I sat down and used my PS3 controller rather than the mat to play, this made it more bearable but made me resentful.Now that I've made a little headway I am enjoying it more, it's great for a brand new beginner at the game, so if you're an old school DDR, I say sod this, get your PS2 out and stick to it.

I bought this game as a christmas gift for my twelwe years old daughter. she enjoys it a lot, especially when some 'real grownups' step on the mat to show 'how it's supposed to be done'. dance-offs with friends are not uncommon.there are quite a lot of songs on disc itself nad more can be donwloaded via psn, some free, some for small price. slower dances are not necessarily easier. difficulty levels extend playtime.good fun overall.

Where to start? I am a veteran DDR player, and this package feels either rushed or idiotic or both.The music selection is small and weak.The game options are TERRIBLE. No continuous workout mode, no proper campaign mode. The "club mode" is garbage and doesn't even have proper difficulty level selection.The game insists on freezing for seven seconds in between every song to "save progress".The random song selection is unbelievably bad. Games of this type usually have a pseudorandom selection that ensures you don't get the same song soon after playing it before. This version of DDR does not - I just had to endure "Plastic Beach" (slow and boring routine here) by Gorillaz three times in a six song stretch.Just AWFUL. I actually have to set up my old Xbox to play DDR on it because this version is so lousy.

ＰＳ３ならもっと進化しているのかと思った。いろんなキャラを選べて，ダンスレビューも出来るとか。テレビ側の性能が良すぎて画像処理しているせいもあるけど，アローとステップもずれてしまって面白さ半減です。

DDRシリーズはちょっと触ったことがある程度の初心者ですが、ずっと気になってました。初のPS3用でしかも専用コントローラ付。輸入版ですが日本でも遊べてセットで3,000円とPS2版のをセットで買うより安い。これ以上値下がりするのは時間がかかると思い購入しました。輸入版となったのは住宅の広さの関係もあって、海外ではまだダンス系ゲームが人気のために新作が出せたのでしょうか？内容・専用コントローラは以前のより滑りにくくなっているようで満足。・曲と映像もほぼ満足・MOVEコントローラを使ったモードがありますが、認識がいまいち、カメラに向かってコントローラを突き出すようなポーズでないと認識してくれません。デモ映像のように踊るように画面四隅の◎に合わせるのは難しいです。・CLUB MODE は隠し曲を出すために作業としてプレイ。難易度が低くても曲数をこなせばそこそこのスコアがとれるため、難易度があがりそうになるとわざと間違えて調整することがあります：；曲の視聴はこちらのKONAMIサイトからどうぞ。[...]要望・CLUB MODEは自動的に難易度が変化してしまうので下手な人には難しい。BasicレベルのみやExpertレベルのみに難易度固定して、自分に合ったレベルでフルコンボ狙いながら100曲踊り続けるようなモードも欲しかった。（自分はBasicならフルコンボ狙えてもDifficultでは怪しくなってしまうのでロングプレイで楽しめない）・連続して踊る場合に1曲リピートや、自分で複数選択した中から曲順ランダムで遊べるモードも欲しかった。・曲の配信だけでなく同じマットで遊ぶためPS2版のDDRシリーズ（特にX、EXTREME、SuperNOVA2)も移植版、またはダウンロード版としてPS3で遊べるようにしてくれるとうれしいです。・2〜4人で遊ぶために専用コントローラのみの販売を日本でも行ってほしいです。・PS3版でもWii版のこの動画のようなステップ＆ダンス振り付けのあるバージョンは出ないのでしょうか。[...]次回作があるならぜひとも期待しています。
