I am really pleased with these balls. They are the perfect size, bright colors and our dishwasher proof!

These KX-WARE multicolor melamine bowls (6 bowls, 8 inches in diameter and 40 ounces capacity per bowl) are bright, cheery and virtually unbreakable. One of the things that made melamine dishware so popular in the mid-1900’s was that melamine was almost like glass dinnerware without the danger of breakage that glass posed. But just remember not to put these bowls into a microwave oven !These bowls are quite spacious (they can each hold 1.25 quarts of liquid.) And they are well-suited for casual dining, for picnicking, for camping or whatever. And what a wonderful way to start the day eating breakfast cereal out of bowls that almost seem to be smiling at you. And are the children finicky about what color bowl they eat out of ? Surely they can find a favorite color from among these cheerful bowls.Nice simple colorful “unbreakable” easy-to-clean super-sized melamine bowls that come in handy for multiple uses.

This is a great, versatile set of mid-century modern looking bowls. They are made of melamine and are BPA Free and dishwasher safe. They are a good size and made in six different vivid colors. They are pretty lightweight but feel very durable. This is a great set for every day use or entertaining. Colorful and fun. These are sure to brighten up any table for any occasion. Highly recommended.

I am not sure if I got a defective bunch or what....I ordered 2 different size plates and 2 different size bowls. All were amazing - shiny on the inside and out - EXCEPT these bowls... They were only shiny on the INSIDE. Bizarre.
