Vango Tempest Pro 300 Tent

So far so good - only tested in a garden but ready for daughters DofE expedition in May.Daughter and friends managed to follow the instructions and have the tent up quickly. The 300 is a good size for 3 large teenagers!

Great tent, easy to put up, perfect for 2 and a dog for hiking. Only one issue is that after the 3rd use the pole snapped and a metal eyelet broke (we had been camping on to of scafell where it was up to 65 mph wind) I contacted and sent it back to the retailer who had it repaired and returned to me within a week. Great customer service from the retailer.

Pros: Really comfortable spacious tent which isn't hard to put up, and isn't super heavy. My partner and i used it cycle touring and it was a manageable weight (though noticably heavier than 2 man options without a porch). Cons: the tunnel shape is hard to pitch tight enough to ensure water doesn't pool on top during heavy rain - we got caught out by this in a nasty storm, and we managed to tighten it enough but a lot of water pooled on top!
