Nic Bishop: Butterflies and Moths

The book is a good book and is still readable. But I am not happy with the shape the book is in. It needs to be repaired and has pages that are folded down. It was not worth the ten dollars I paid for it. I am disappointed in it.

I bought this book after one of my students at school brought it for show and tell. I had been thinking of writing a story involving butterfiles, and this book contains many facts not commonly found in other works. Gorgeous photographs depict the stages of life, making it easy for even the youngest readers to grasp. My own children at home are now enjoying this book as well.

I am an adult and had ordered this from the library. After reading it, I went on Amazon and ordered it for myself. It was educational, easily understood for children and yet very informative for adults too. The pictures were good and the author's side stories interesting too. It's a short book packed with good information.

I bought this book to try and help me get over my phobia about butterflies and moths. It didn't help at all, but it's a nice book with great photos.

I had thought that this book would help me to identify the various butterflys in our area as well as the catepillars. Although the pictures are amazing; the book is more on the level of a picture book to share with young children. Not what I expected at all.

We recently moved and found there are quite a few moths and butterflies that we were unfamiliar with. This book features nice displays in their pictures with a well written description.

Beautiful pictures and I should have read more about age grouping. This is a child's book.
