I bought this dance mat for my 4-year-old daughter, and it has been an absolute hit! The unicorn design is adorable, and it instantly caught her attention. Another bonus is the supplied rechargeable battery, which comes with a USB cable for charging.Overall, this is a well conceived and executed product, which I can see my granddaughter enjoying for years to come. Well worth the £36.99 price tag. Highly recommended.

First of all, this is a very pretty little dance mat for a younger child to play on. Our niece is three and she quickly understood how it worked and had a great time playing on it.You essentially have a number of games that range from free modes to dance modes to memory modes. In the free modes you just tap away as you like, in the dance modes you need to follow the lights (your typical dance mat game) and in the memory mode you need to remember sequences. All the games are fun and there are a range of difficulty levels. An adult can connect their phone to the mat by Bluetooth to work through the various settings.The mat itself looks nice and colourful. It appears fairly durable and up to the job of hard-play from younger children. I would say that I didn't love the charging system. It looks very 'DIY-style' in that it's some batteries bound together that you plug in to an iffy looking connector and then into a USB port. These days, I think we expect most things to be USB C and so this certainly loses the dance mat a star - if that connecter breaks at any point it's done.Overall, I think this is a great mat, I'm just a little nervous about the longevity of that battery/connector.
