Sent it back. Not very good

So far product has only worked for a few hours, put new batteries in, that came with product and it still doesn't work, also a lot of confusion over what batteries this takes. Poor product

I've been using Phonak hearing aids for the past 4 years and was never very satisfied because they do not reduce background noise and there is no way to control the volume. At a function in a crowded room for example. They were also very, very expensive,These inexpensive Medca hearing aids have a volume control but increasing the volume also increases the background noise which is terrible. However I find them very good for watching television or having a one to one conversation.Not sure if the technology really exists to reduce background noise,I'll have to continue my search for a noise reducing hearing aid.

I bought this hearing amplifier for my 93 year old mother who, during her recent stay in a nursing home, lost her hearing aid? Despite trying all of the various buds and deciding on the 'best' one within minutes the amplifier had slipped down behind her ear and pulled the bud out of her ear. If you look at the amplifier there is no 'hook' to hook over the ear like a hearing aid and the wire is very fine and flexible which provides no support. Good luck if it works for you but it was definitely no good for my mother.

purchased as a stop gap, whilst waiting for a NHS item. Not very effective but good enough for the short term.

I was having great difficulty in hearing other systems you watch through your tv system and the sound had to be past 70 and I still couldn’t hear it so I bought this earring aid. I only need it for that tv system and it truly works wonderfully. I definitely recommend it it and it saves everybody else from going deaf and getting headaches because you can’t hear the pictures your wanting to watch together as a family

Contrary to some other reviews found this article was not a cheap 'Plastic' version but a well constructed robust article of compact design.The ' behind ear portion' is much neater and smaller than the NHS model, a mini 'in the earpiece' is connected by a fine wire conductor and after selecting the correct grommet (worth taking time with) there is no residual noise and clear reception. Amplification is good, and at this stage of use is all that can honestly be verified.Unobtrusive and comfortable it meets my requirements perfectly. Selected this one because there is no longer any NHS Audio facility within reasonable traveling distance and the price was right.

the hearing aid was ok doing the job i can hear is not as good as my old one but it will do for now the price was right
