A well-made excellent value
I was looking for a lightweight, shirt-style, armored base-layer. My use is for riding, touring cruiser motorcycles and also to wear while competing in precision skills competitions. I am 6'-0'' and weigh 170 lbs, with an athletic build. I ordered two DUHAN Motorcycle Shirt Mesh Motorcycle Jacket Men with CE Level 2 Armor, one each in Medium and Large. The medium fit my body well, but was too small in the shoulders and sleeve length. The large fit my shoulders and the sleeve length was better, but still the sleeves were a tiny bit short, especially when both arms are extended and holding onto the handlebars. The body of the Lrg was looser than the medium but not by much. I kept the large. I have tried many other styles and this is the closest I have found to "lightweight" and base-layer like fit. I have worn this several times while training for slow skills competition and the shirt moves nicely with my arms and body, and it does not bind or rub. I use the back and elbow CE2 pads when practicing; and the shoulder pads depending on what other clothing/gear I am wearing when cruising. Today I wore the shirt over a long-sleeve tee and my body was at a good temperature and the shirt after about 4.5 hours was still comfortable to wear. I also own some very expensive brand name armor and this compares very nicely and is less than half the cost of a few of my other armored items. This item is a good value and it is easy to recommend it.

Affordable protection
When I ordered this I thought that it would be a semi-solid piece of material or almost a faux leather type jacket with slide pads. Turns out this is a full mesh under shirt type of garment.I actually ended up using it as an outer layer over my t-shirt and the mesh made it a literal breeze in this ridiculous summer we had this year! 108f in October is not fun, but this kept me protected. When it finally cools down I will simply wear it under my coat.I bought the x-large as a 6' 2" guy at around 230lbs. It fits tight but not uncomfortably so, which I think is about perfect. The armor inserts took some fiddling to slide into their pockets but I found folding them in half made it much easier.

Looks Good. Useless As Protection
This is an actual review by someone who has worn this on multiple rides, not just a rewritting of the vendors description or unboxing. There are things to like about this jacket/shirt:* It looks good and is nicely tailored.* The thumb catches to keep the sleeves under your gloves are a nice touch.* It is cool as these things go.There are things not to like about it:* It should have an inside pocket. The one outside pocket will only fit a smallish wallet or medium size cell phone.* The material is clingy where it touches your skin (mainly at the forearm if wearing a short sleeve T) and it's not nice feeling.* It's sized on the small side. Some mediums will fit me, though I usually opt for large, which is then a little big on me. I'm 6'2" 180. I ordered an XL and it's the right fit. You probably want to go up a size. The problem with all but the priciest ligthweight motorcycle gear is that the physics doesn't work in its favor. This Duhan shirt is simply too lightweight to help much if you take a slide. They don't actually say what the material it's made from is but it feels like a type of polyester, the abrasion resistance of which is negligible. One second after sliding on the pavement this stuff will be rubbed away. You really need something like Kevlar thread to offer any meaningful lightweight skid protection. The lightweight fabric also makes the pads largely useless. That's because as soon as lateral force is applied to them they will be pushed out of position as there's nothing to keep them in place on your elbows or shoulders. A loose fabric pocket isn't going to do it. The back protector is the most likely piece to stay put. When you take a slide on the pavement there's a great deal of force in play. A garment made of thin fabric with rubber pieces in fabric pockets isn't going to be able to resist this force. Granted any protection is better than none but this offers so little and isn't any cooler than a more substantially constructed mesh jacket that I see no reason to wear this over that.Be aware that when installing the chest pads that there are sealed pockets they go in. They don't just loosely sit in the two openings on each side of the main zipper as it first appears. There are no instructions with this and the installation for the other pads is obvious, for the chest pads not so much.

Nice fit but Chest pads fall out easily
The fit is nice however you need to get 1 size larger than normal. I usually wear an XL but only the XXL fit. I’m 6 foot and about 210 lbs with a fit build. The chest plates are barely held in but they do stay. The rest of the plates are held in nicely. The jacket is tight fitting but

False Sense Of Security
When I ordered this jacket, I was hoping it would be better than wearing no protection during our hot summers here in Texas. While it is relatively comfortable and passes a lot of air when riding, it is in no way better than just a t-shirt. Yes, it has CE Level 2 pads, but what good are those if the jacket holding it all in place shreds to pieces when you fall? This jacket is made of very thin material. No Kevlar, no 2520d, 1200d, or even 600d polyester. If you fall over, maybe the pads will help prevent a bruise, but if you slide at all, the jacket, and the pads with it, will be ripped off.Comfort-wise, I compared it to my other mesh jacket. The Duhan is considerably lighter, and initially more comfortable. When you are moving, the airflow through the jacket is impressive. It is much cooler than my other one. However, when you are stopped, this jacket gets much hotter much more quickly because it is so tight against the skin.If you are not going to wear a heavy mesh jacket with actual tear resistant material, then just wear a plain shirt without pads. You will be more comfortable and have just as much protection. You also won’t have a false sense of security.

Muy bonita
Se ve bastante bien, sin embargo, la protección contra el frío no es tan eficiente.
