I bought this because I am left handed and wanted a smaller spatula that was not plastic. This spatula is perfectly imperfect! It came not straight like the picture, but it actually is shaped for left handers. So WIN for me! It washes well and works well. I would buy again!

I never liked the idea of putting plastic in a hot pan (melted the edge of more than one cheap plastic turner over the years) and scraping with metal can be a bit rough on my cast iron pan's seasoning sometimes. This wood turner is an ideal alternative. It feels good in my hand (I'm left handed), works good for turning, and goes easy on my seasoning when I have to scrape the pan with it. The finish is holding up well (acacia wood is full of natural oil) and so far it hasn't scorched or burned even when I use it in a smoking hot pan. The turner is not dishwasher safe but is easy to hand-clean, just rinse it under a sink, scrub with a soft brush to remove any food, and dry it with a kitchen towel.

This is great. So easy to clean as Acacia wood is non porous. The curve of the leading edge confirms with most 12" pans so stir fry is easy and you don't leave crusty edges on your pan
