Perhaps I didn’t understand how many coats would be needed
Took 3 coats to give even colour on untreated wood - turned out to be an expensive job because of this

Like others have stated could do with thickening, good overall look

Fast drying!
Great fast drying outdoor paint. I would class it more of a paint than a stain.A dream to use as it drys quick and looks great on outdoor furniture.Brushes are easy to clean with water.

Did as expected; time (and weather) wik tell!
Can't rate the durability yet as time will tell. Overall a good product but did require 2 coats. Maybe because I was painting new tanalised timber used as the floor joists on my new balcony. They just looked odd in the natural timber colour as the balcony is black powder-coated steel and glass panels. Much better now.

Amazon, pack your paint better.
Good product, but Amazon's packing leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to a product like this. Lucky the tin was shrink-wrapped or it would have been a complete mess. Not happy

Watery
Had high hopes for this after reading the reviews. Maybe it's a trust the process kind of woodstain. I don't have time for that at this time. This wood stain is extremely watery & I have definitely had better. Would not recommend.

Just the job
It was only for a very small (20cm x 40cm) bare wood drawer unit and working in a well ventilated warm room so that the coats would dry quickly three light coats applied over a few hours seems to be enough to give me the exact result I wanted, which was a 'light' almost more of a very dark grey rather than a black finish. I'll give it a few days to 'set' properly and see if it needs more coats, if not it will get a coat of neutral wax to seal it off and it will be job done. Over all I am impressed as the build up of the light coats I applied showed that I could have made this as 'black' as possible if I had wanted that deep a finish. I still have way more than half a tin left if I decide I want to make it darker when it has settled after a few days but if it stays as it is I will be more than happy with the result.
