This Tourit water bottle has all the features I wanted. I got the 24oz bottle. It does not have a straw which I did not want. It remains cold 12-hours or more. Great water bottle.

I bought the 40 oz version. The lid works the same as a comparable brand. When I unscrew the smaller cap; and tip the bottle for a drink, that hinged cap stays back and out of the way. It's not magnetic as it might be on some of the other sizes, but rather seems to stay put because the hinge has some mechanical friction (like the others).The silicone seals appear to be the same size as the 'standard' kind. Measuring with a ruler the diameter of the larger seal is about 57mm and the smaller seal is about 27mm. The seals don't have the little extra tab to help with removal. I think my usual method of using a toothpick or paperclip will work fine.The powder-coat finish is deluxe. I can't yet say how durable, but generally those are pretty rugged.Looking carefully at the stainless steel inside the bottle, I can't see any hint of a seam. It is perfect. One other reviewer mentioned a metalic taste, but I have not noticed this. The water taste is pure & clean, and the bottle has no effect on the taste.I ended up with a black bottle. I wish the 40oz was available in a white color. If I leave my bottle in the car, and the sun hits it, it will heat up pretty fast. I might keep a white paper bag handy in my car to put over it.

I work at a desk and prefer to have 40oz+ water bottles to ensure I am staying hydrated. Due to this, I have a few stainless steel water bottles like this one in rotation but wanted to try this one as the color is beautiful. That being said, this stainless steel water bottle seems to fall short compared to other similar bottles on the market:1. Keeping your drink cold: My ice will melt very quickly in this water bottle. While I have tried similar water bottles that can keep my ice all day, I find that my ice melts within a few hours in this water bottle.2.Sturdiness: I dropped this water bottle out of my car on accident and it has a huge dent in the side now - while this is my error I am surprised at how deep of a dent formed from such a short fall - I have other bottles similar to this that get thrown around or dropped and do not dent or affect the paint but this one seems to be a bit weaker in comparison.3. The lid: This lid is my preferred type of lid compared to a straw as it is easier to clean but I have noticed that even if you unscrew the top spout lid, it doesn't really detach from the main lid until you pull a little bit.Overall, I still use this daily as it does not leak, holds a lot of water, and the color is beautiful but I will say it isn't the best type of water bottle as some on the market - the quality of construction seems a bit lower than others.

Keep water cold perfectly for many hours

I have had a lot of different insulated SS beverage thermos's. I suppose there are pro's and con's to a lot of them. Plus, everyone may have a personal choice, shape, size, etc. that you're looking for. I know I did. I wanted to make sure it wasn't too big to fit in my vehicle cup holder. It is just the right size for me. I like that it seals good so it doesn't leak out. I've knocked it over and dropped it and it has taken it and I haven't had it leak over the months of daily use. I hardly use anything else ever, and I hardly ever, ever leave home without it. I had never heard of Tourit or had one before, but I am very happy with mine and would buy one exactly like this again!
