Miniature Chisels (Set of 7)

Small enough for the miniature scenes I build to get in tight places for touch up! Love them!

They arrived with decent bevels, but not actually sharpened. That's not unusual, even for high quality tools, so I'm not deducting stars for that, just don't expect them to be sharp out of the box.The big problem is the steel - it won't hold an edge when used on hardwoods. It would not be an issue if you plan to use these on clay, or soap, or basswood, or lots of other materials; but I am trying to use them for walnut and hickory, and I have to resharpen (not just strop) after 5-10 tiny cuts. I will probably wear out the usable blade surface in a month or two.Other than that, they are just OK, but they appear to be the same budget chisels available from other sources for a little less.I wish someone would make something from a quality steel in the price gap between these and the $150 "pro" chisels.

Miniature Chisels for wood working. Great, made of good material. I am a luthier and require accurate, small, very sharp chisels. This set is great! You will need to sharpin them p[rior to use, however. Great buy...

They are pretty decent chisels for the price and sharp out of the box. I needed to sharpen one them after a reasonable amount of usage and found it very difficult to get a good edge. I will try again as I found the size just right for detailed work.

Great set! Worth the money!

The steel was was polished well enough and the edge was sharp enough for my application. I was not expecting a very fine tool and was not disappointed. I lan on using these chisels mostly for cleaning woodwork and they are sized right for my needs. I took one star off for value as I think they are 10-20% over priced.

Love them! Tried them immediately and they are really sharp and strong. My only issue is that the handles are smooth and a bit thin, which means that I have to hold the handle tighter than I'd like.
