First note: follow the size chart. I'm normally a size 16, and I swallowed my pride enough to order an XXL, which almost fits properly.The skirt's length and waist are great - please note there's a zip on the side that ensures a smooth fit, with elastic on the back for some adjustability. It goes to my ankles, and I am on the taller side.The shirt's wide enough for my shoulders - an amazement in itself - but I'd prefer a couple more inches as the elastic at the wrists falls short when I'm fully extended and moving around. The length works to be long enough to tuck into the skirt without excessive length bunching around my thighs.This isn't something I'd wear as an everyday outfit, but as a costume for an event, it would work nicely.The detailing is quite lovely - the sleeve ends have what looks like lace feathers, there are cross-hatched bits on the bottom of the skirt as well as lace. The buttons may not be committed to staying in place, but they look good to start. A flatter button rather than the loop attachment may have worked better for a smoother profile.I'm wearing this on a semi-cool day with breezes and ceiling fans, and it's still fairly warm. I imagine it'd be somewhat less than comfortable on a hot day, but delightfully cozy on cooler days, with the skirt thicker than the shirt.The shirt is thick enough that you can't see directly through it, another pleasant surprise.

I ordered this for my teenage daughter to do vintage photos with. I am so happy with it. This is a high quailty set and can be worn for other things. I got this in brick red color. It looks just like the photos and the sizing was spot on. This was great for this!

It is a cute outfit, but it is a fit tight of a fit.

This is a lovely and comfortable outfit. The fabric feels very nice. Fits well. The only issue I had was that the zipper on the skirt is black and glaringly obvious.

This Nuoqi Women's VIctorian Dress Costume, 1800s Edwardian is overall a good buy.While this feels like a costume, it's definitely a 'higher end' costume and overall well made. It has two pieces to it (the skirt and shirt), and the shirt is less 'costumey' than the skirt. The attention to detail on the cut, ribbon, and lace on the shirt is fantastic. The skirt has an elastic band and is stretchy, making it a comfortable fit. The lacing and black ribbon look nice, but the skirt feels a little 'lighter'. My biggest worry is that the buttons will easily fall off of the skirt (they don't feel as if they are sewn on well). While this can indeed be fixed (and you do get an extra button), I expect that the construction and button attachment would be better for the price.It runs a bit small, so pay attention to the actual measurements when purchasing.
