A REALLY NICE MENS BELT LINE
My first Mark Fred belt won't be the last. This gray leather one is, I suspect, priced low as a promotion to pomote the full Mark Fred line. This particular one is adjustable (like all of them). The buckle is pure class...the leather supple, the double thickness well sewn with what appears to be nylon thread. Is adjusted and designed to be cut by owner...lengths are embossed so the final fit is notable. I've owned some funky belts over the years. Smartly priced, this and the other Mark Fred styles are a good step toward well dressesd.

Exceeded My Expectations!
I rolled the dice on this because I was curious as heck about the latching mechanism. I was expecting to be disappointed and to give it away to someone. I am happily wrong. Its really cool how it works and that clicking sound when you tighten up is very nice. Can't speak to overall longevity but I have high hopes. Keeps my pants up far better than my last traditional belt.

I like the product.
Giving 5 star based on a very small initial usage. It was super easy to cut into a correct length and so far it fits and appears to be a substantial product. Only time will tell if it holds up as expected. I like the quality of the leather and the ability to use it either as a brown or black belt. I needed a leather belt to replace one that I have had for many, many, many years but I am afraid that one day the leather is going to break. This belt I can use to replace it and at the same time use it on another pair of pants in the meantine.

Nice - Softer Leather than most
The leather is actually a bit softer than most so the belt isn't stiff and ready to crack after a couple of months. I would say it's a great deal for the money. The only suggestion for improvement is possibly a selection of buckles to purchase separately so that they can be interchanged, and the ridges for the ratchet be a little more pronounced so that you can hear/feel them a little better.

Love the ratchet system
Love this ratchet system. This makes the buckle a bit thicker than I'm used to but the adjustability is superior to traditional style belts. Nice gray color and the leather is nice. There's a slight crinkle toward the center when hanging up straight but flattens out when worn so not a big deal.

Really it's exactly what I wanted
My belt just seemed to disappear off the face of the planet so had to order a new belt quickly. Searched through several on Amazon and took my chances here. It comes in a massive size with a paper attached showing where to cut for the size belt you need. The cut part goes into the belt clasp so nobody would ever know you cut it. I love the belt. It took 2 min to cut to size and it's nicer material than anticipated. Very pleased

Disappointing Quality
Update: six months in the buckle hardware failed and the belt is useless. The material still is in one piece, but i will not buy this again.CAUTION: This belt is made from BONDED leather. I was very excited for this belt. I was concerned because of some of the reviews, but I had recently purchased a $17 genuine solid leather belt, which i was surprisingly impressed with, so I thought I’d give it a shot. When I opened the package to see the plastic-like gloss and deep stitching, I was immediately concerned for level of quality. I have no clue how long this belt will last, and as cool as the buckle system is, it just doesn’t “look” like a quality product by itself on on a pair of pants. I will continue to wear it and see how it wears, but it isn’t what I had hoped.

Good belt, but one was made poorly.
*UPDATE 7/21*One of the pins has fallen out and I can no longer use the belt. These seem to be made very poorly and both belts were a complete waste of money.I bought 2 of these belts. One brown and one black. The brown belt, I believe, was manufactured incorrectly. I have a 30 in waist, so I cut the belt to 33 and it's too small. I cannot pull the belt tight enough to even get one latch.When I compare the brown belt to the black one, the space between the tip of the belt and the first latch is completely different. There is about an extra inch or 2 on the brown one. I cut the black belt to a 31 and it fits perfectly, so obviously the brown belt was made incorrectly.. I am hoping to return the brown one and get a refund.
