Quality product but instructions hard to follow .It does work great and its not cheap looking

a tad awkward to install but a good product - works well in my green house

These were bought to make ventilating the greenhouse more effective, ie forgetting to open the air vents when you’ve gone out.These gadgets are brilliant, easy to install, inexpensive and most important of all they work effectively.

Fairly easy to fit, and operates really well. Also like the fact there is nothing sticking out to bang your head on!

The Halls Auto Vent Window Opener arrived quickly and all was present and correct which was a great start. The main reason why I bought one was because, when I first built my new greenhouse and with the manual window opener, I found myself always banging my head off the manual arm the opens the window as no matter on which hole you put the arm you kept on forgetting it was there and I thought with the auto version, that wouldn’t happen.So I set about installing the new one and there were only two things I had a problem with, “1” the instructions sheet was written in too small a font making it hard to read and if you turned the page over it was blank so they could make the writing bigger and use the second page in my opinion. “2” fastening the clips to both the top bar and bottom bar are a bit fiddly and the base of my greenhouse is made up with decking and I had to be extra careful the screws didn’t fall out or they would have been gone for good, “it would be nice if they gave you a couple extra screws”.Anyway, I got it on in about 30 minutes and it’s a great job because at the time of writing this, we had “UK” that beautiful May weather and it was a great test for the auto window opener and it works like a treat.I went for the Halls version as I have a Hall 66 Popular Greenhouse and I didn’t want any compatibility issues.The images I uploaded are the window opener at 9.00am then 9.30am and lastly 10am to give you a rough guide to how it works. I have it set to low, so it starts to open around 20-C.,'Update" I have been watching the window over the last couple of weeks and it opens only half way and it has been about 38c in the greenhouse so I have to use the assistance of the door to get more air flow. Don't get me wrong, this is perfect for me. It might open further if you are in an even hotter country other than the UK but saying that we had a record breaking May this year "2018".

Purchased to go with my Halls greenhouse. After numerous attempts and near misses in breaking glass finally managed to fit this over complicated piece of equipment. Clamping it to the frame is very hit & miss and considering this is a Halls product for a Halls greenhouse I would have expected it to be a pre-drilled arrangement involving the correct length screws etc and not an aftermarket hash up that it proved to be.

Needed a Hall so I could be certain it would fit my Halls green house. Had to drill holes in the window frame to stop flexing and the pane falling out. Straight forward DIY job

Installation is a little fiddly but the opener works well and can be adjusted easily to operate at a quite specific temperature.
