Great Book!
I've used it as a teaching supplement for my first year design students, and as a cited source for my thesis. I love these "Pamphlets"

The Immacuate Line
I am pleased I added this title to my growing Pamphlet Architecture collection. In the best of meanings - this book is one that must be read from cover to cover to gain a very precious in-sight to the work of Laura Allen and Mark Smout. Immaculate drawings with detailed modelling combine with clear informative text that describes propositions that are at once both architectonic in mechanised terms whilst exhibiting kinetic and static sculptural intensities.Another small book that will give plentiful food for thought.

Augmented Landscapes: Smout Allen....
I recommend this Pamphlet edition (28) to all third/fourth year architectural and design students. The work produced and critical thinking offers a re-evaluation of how we integrate, interrelate, refold and awakening the landscape in conjunction to the architecture of navigation by utilising the sites and program. A refreshing read
This was my first book from the Pamphlet Architecture collection and I found it so refreshing. The ideas and concepts are not only interesting but presented in such an exciting graphical language. The projects are thought provoking and the solutions to such challenging situations are poetic. I am glad to have bought this book and have started my own pamphlet architecture collection because of it.Would make a good gift for an architect/architecture student.
