Unbelievable
Since getting a tablet, I had been looking at getting a wireless speaker for it and my phone for a while. I looked at lots and lots of reviews for different speakers. I looked at the Bose Soundlink but it was way too expensive and £200+. The logitech Mini boombox and the UE Mini were firm favourites but I wanted something that produced a decent amount of base. I saw the Jambox and loved it but thought £160 was still quite a lot. Fortunately, it was reduced to £99 after Xmas 2012.Connection:Connects easily to both my Asus tablet and HTC phone, I have not tried iphone yet. The first time it took a little while to find the Jambox and took a couple of refreshes on my phone to find it. Once paired, it connects automatically when you turn your bluetooth on to reconnect. Sometimes the connection skips and experienced once the music stopping for no reason but this could be down to Spotify being unreliable.Sound:I first got it and played some music. The volume goes loud enough for a room in your house before going on a night out or sitting outside for some easy listening but it wont't be loud enough for a party. The sound quality was good but did still sound like it's coming out of small speakers (only slightly flat). Then I updated the software on Jawbone online portal. The new software feature Live Audio is amazing. You are able to turn it off for more volume and less quality....you will never turn this off because it makes music sound brilliant. It introduces so much depth to the music and makes it astonishing that such good quality music can come out of something so small. (Small enough to chuck in a jacket pocket or small handbag. I use it for taking outside to train and around the house for multi room music. Who needs a Sonos system?)Battery life is brilliant. seems to go for ages and ages even with Live Audio which I guess would drain more life from the battery.Accessories:The extras you get in the box adds that extra level of quality, a case that slips over it to add protection when not using it, a flat aux in cable and charger.I would recommend going to your local Currys or PC world to try it before spending £160 on it to see if you like it but it's definitely a steal at £99.

Jawbone Jambox Review
I got this "as new" the packaging was a bit shabby and battered. Only thing missing was the uk mains plug adapter. The unit connected via Bluetooth with no problems. Sound quality is excellent but not enough power to fill a large room or party with. Battery life is excellent and charges via usb. The Jambox is well made and nice and heavy. I am very pleased with it but probably a bit overpriced at £100.00.

A beautifully engineered little speaker
I had my reservations at first but after reading a few online reviews ant took the plunge ordering my jambox. I wanted a bluetooth speaker I could use in conjunction with my laptop. I was amazed at the build quality, and even the neat packaging (I thought a book had arrived at first, its so small) and the sound is quite impressive for such a tiny box. I found it fairly easy to set up, but then I know, better than some, what I'm doing, anyone with experience of setting up bluetooth devices shouldn't have any problems, I don't have internal bluetooth so used a little USB plug in dongle. I was a little disappointed with Windows, in that it only allowed one playback device at a time in control panel/Hardware & sound/ Manage audio devices/playback. I wanted to use my jambox in a separate room and use my computer's internal speakers at the same time in another room, windows as it stood did not allow this. I got around this by using a third party bit of software called Virtual Audio Cable by Eugene Muzychenko (google it to find it). This is not free however but it does the job well. It works in conjunction with another bit of software called Audio Repeater which is free and comes in the same installation. When installed the virtual audio cable appears as a playback device in the audio devices window. I can then fire up as many instances of audio repeater as I like and map virtual audio cable as the input device and the bluetooth audio as the output in one and the computer's hardware output in another. There is a slight delay on the bluetooth output, but this can be compensated for by increasing the buffer time by around 350ms (a bit of tinkering can get it spot on) in the audio repeater window for the computer internal speakers channel. This may all sound complicated but it really isn't and I hope it helps anyone else get great results from using their jambox in combination with their regular speakers. This setup could also be used to run lots of jamboxes simultaneously if one so desired. I'm listening to the little beast as I write this and am a very happy bunny.

this is the definition of portability
First time I saw this speaker a few years ago I didn't think much of it. It looked to small so in my mind the sound must have been awful. However I had the chance to test it for a day (from a friend) and fell in love with it immediately. The sound is best in class given the size of this speaker and the battery life is superb. But the best feature of this gadget is the size of it (and weight). I ride my bike in the mountains alot and tugging in my backpack next to my spare tubes is painless.Pros:- size and weight- sound- battery life- charge with ubiquitous microUSBCons:- price may seem a bit too high for a bluetooth speaker- (spoiler) can't run speaker on silent mode but still have it tell you the battery level on demand.

Loud and clear and the battery seems to last for ages
Recently took this on holiday and it produces excellent sound for its tiny size. We sunbathed outside our room and had music playing to it from our smartphones. Loud and clear and the battery seems to last for ages. When it needs to be charged, its just a simple case of plugging in the included charger. The speaker itself has a nice weight to it and feels well made. Also comes packages very well, and has an included slip case to carry it around.
