If you’re new to these glass cups with the wood top, you have to learn how to create a mold free environment for the wood. This entails not filling your liquid up to the very top, and never allowing the wood to touch the liquid in the cup. This also entails cleaning the wood top regularly and instantly drying it off. Unfortunately Wood and water just don’t go together but if you manage it well, it can work. I love this cup and it came with a steel straw but if you don’t use the straw that it came with the suction can be weak. I also love the clear glass and the groovy writing on the walls.
