Needed this for upcoming surgery. I regret purchasing due to self storing ottoman gets stuck, seat and arms have little padding so pretty uncomfortable. Cannot return as we threw box out. Would nit re- purchase.

My first time ordering furniture from Amazon and I'm pleasantly surprised. I'll discuss assembly first which is pretty straight-forward. Everything required is included in the box. You take the feet for the sides and screw into the holes on the bottom. Simple. You attach the wheels to the bottom of the chair so the extension can roll out which is done with a combination of screws and washers. No problem.Where I had an issue because I had to assemble this myself was getting sides attached to the chair. The manual recommends two people for this because their suggested method is to stand the sides up then lower the chair onto the sides so that grooves lock into place. This is pretty much impossible for a person to do alone. How I got them on there was by putting the chair on its side and sliding a side onto the chair starting from the bottom of the chair and sliding up. If properly-aligned then the side should attach. I repeated the process for the other side then stood the assembled unit up.Despite the thinness of the cushions, this thing is very comfortable and easy to adjust. The bottom easily rolls out with the cushion easily coming up. It's effortless to push back in too. The head is easy to adjust. You just push it forward to unlock then you can push it back to one of the three positions. It'll lock itself into one of the positions. Very simple. The included pillow is nice too. Overall, I'm pleased with the unit and I hope it lasts. I just wish assembly was easier alone. I recommend it, but help might be needed to put it together.
