Very Helpful
So far, I have only used this book to plan my summer camp. So I haven't actually completed any with students yet. But I have read through it, my favorite part is how the design process changes a little each time. Students know the general process but it doesn't turn into the same old same old. It would be great to use in the classroom because it is themed with the seasons. I can't wait to see how the students do with the projects.

How to teach the stem lab structure to kids!
We just became a stem school. The lessons in this book were great for practice as well as how to teach the structure to little kids. Lesson details are crystal clear. Two labs for each month connected to seasons. Apples in September, candles in December. Teachers ordered their own copies after I shared mine!

The lesson format is extremely easy to follow
The lesson format is extremely easy to follow. Perfect for someone like me (new to STEM). My TK students were thoroughly engaged from start to finish. They made apple containers. We're gearing up for nut sorters next.

Every child K-2 should have this book
School is no longer memorizing a lesson and repeating words back that are meaningless. Ms. Reyes teaches a chiild to think. When you do these projects your child is preparing to use their brain to analyze and be able to solve problems. Life is about thinking and solving problems.

Great projects!
It provides a breakdown so the projects can be worked several days, yet has flexibility to fit my schedule, too.The projects are do-able by the young ones, yet still have merit in the science and engineering content areas.I'm anxious to use all of the projects.

True STEM Lessons
Both grade levels of this book are excellent. True STEM lessons unlike some others that claim to be STEM. This book keeps STEM simple enough for the primary grades.

Sandi Reyes is a great workshop presenter
A good jumping off point for planning STEM activities and lesson plans. Still need thought as to how to plan for the pre school child and classroom as my school requires.
