So easy to use, so cleverly designed. I love this! Using it mainly to charge my back up camera in my horse trailer, but will use it for other things when camping.

Together with a 3-1 cable that I cannot find in any other brand, this 40w panel charges my phone and pad so fast. And it really looks beautiful under the sunlight. I like its output design most, including 2 usb, 1 typeC and 1 dc. The package also has a dc cable with 10 connectors. Accessories are good enough too.

This unit doesn't produce a full 40w, no matter how you adjust it, but that is pretty typical for solar panels rated at STC (which is a fantasy, and why California created its own rating standard.) Needs to be paired with a small MPPT controller to be effective charging 12v batteries. USB works fine, pairs well with a power bank but you need one that takes wide range (at least 18v) direct input because the USB QC cant output full 40w, a limitation of the protocol.

The second panel today for me to test, the first was such a terrible disappointment (different seller). This little bit of kit was a very pleasant surprise. The reason why I mentioned in the title that I'm glad I took a chance on this one, was purely based on how many solar panels I've received in this price range that have been an utter waste of time. Add to that, and the only image in the ad is a rendering, oh, and there's just nearly zero detailed info under 'description', ordering it was rolling the dice. Well... shoot, this compact bit of kit seemed rather nice at first glance, and it just kept getting better and better. I usually don't do pro/con lists, but it'll be a little more helpful in this situation to at least bullet point some important info:* Remarkably well constructed, nice case, stitching isn't sloppy, even an embroidered label, just uncommon details for this price range* DV barrel outlet, lots of the more common adapters for solar generators, what appear to be very high quality USB-C and USB-A cables, respective USB ports, and a male/male power cable* A nice product manual* 4 aluminum spring loaded carabiners and the panel has grommets, so attaching this to a larger backpack is a breeze!* Clasps, versus velcro* Ultra compact and lightweight* Best for last... this thing puts out power! In fact, within seconds of connecting to my tester it was reading close to 50W. Yes, I did take a little time to angle it to the midday sun and the sun is certainly shining today, however, it's also 100F and high heat deteriorates performance.* Okay, one more 'best for last' comment, as I can't ignore that the price is ridiculously good for this panel (note for seller... don't get greedy, get some better pictures and ad copy up and keep the price below sixty bucks and you are going to sell these things like hotcakes). Had the wattage come in at 40W, I would still think it's a great deal, but as an avid outdoors person, every little extra bit of juice means keeping critical devices, like GPS, satellite positioning, cell phones, etc. more easily charged.* Cons? None. I'm guessing someone might point out that other similar panels have little stands, but I'd rather have a more compact, light panel and I find the built-in stands annoying.I'm pretty picky reviewer. That first panel I mentioned received just a single star. Five stars is a rating I only give to products that tick every box. This panel did just that. Used this camping. I have never had a folding briefcase solar panel, so I didn't know what to expect. This kit came with everything I needed. It was perfect for the battery I had.
