I wish I could keep it
The media could not be loaded. So this is probably the best value scooter on Amazon. The quality is better than expected, especially the base which is very tick high density plastic-rubber. The wheels are huge and brakes are serious and it smells like a skate shop. Very nice.It is better than a Lime scooter I think, and more maneuverable. It is much, much faster. Eco mode seems a little too slow and drive mode seems a little too fast at full throttle but you could turn cruise control on in the app which might help, and the throttle is dynamic, but you can not set an exact speed limit in the app which would be nice. I would not want to use sport mode without a helmet and pads for fear of my life.It looks bada$$, especially with the accent light bar and dark rubber accents.People have said they can not connect to the scooter easily with the app. Apparently the app in the Play Store is an old version. If you scan the QR code that comes with it you can download the latest version of the apps from their website. I had some difficulty initially getting it to connect. So what I did was connect to it as a bluetooth device with the phone menu, and then tried to connect through the app but it didn't work. So I disconnected by turning bluetooth off and on again, then with the device still saved, tried connecting through the app without being connected through the phone, and then it worked. Once it connected the first time, I never had an issue getting it to connect after that, it connected right away every single time. So if you just have the device remembered on your phone and bluetooth is on you can use the connect button in the app and it works every time no problem. You can lock and unlock the wheels from the app, turn the lights on and off, customize the light bar, and adjust the brake sensitivity. Pretty cool. Also, you need to enable zero-start in the app menu, otherwise it is push start like a Lime scooter.People said the wheels wear out and became unsafe and rated the scooter down. Use your heads, you have to periodically replace the wheels just like with skates. Don't give the scooter a bad rating because you wore out the wheels.Unfortunately, it took almost a week and a half to get this despite it saying 2-day prime shipping and when it did finally arrive UPS had really banged the hell out of it because the box was open on the top, there was a small hole in the bottom of the box, and all the styrofoam inside was broken. However the scooter was largely undamaged. There were only a couple of issues:-None of the rubber dampers which hold the cabling in place are plugged in. You are expected to do that yourself. The brake line sheathing was cut completely through from rubbing against the edge of the housing. Had the damper been plugged in before shipping this would not have been an issue. The brakes still functioned and the part which was cut is inside the housing/damper after it is plugged in so it's not a huge deal but still the sheathing is there for a reason.-The holes for the screws which fasten the handle bars to the shaft were misaligned on one side which made it difficult to assemble and impossible to get all the screws to go in flush. While overall it is an excellent scooter, what I discovered is that in my city, wherever it makes sense to scooter there are already a ton of Lime scooters. So I wish I could keep it but ultimately it is not cost-effective and it's going back. :(

Awesome.
Really nice scooter does the 20 mph and lighting is great. Negative points when folded and you clip it to wheel cover its pretty flimsy and undoes itself easily. And to download the app was a pain in the rear to me an hour intil it just felt like downloading. But over all the scooter runs great, handles well and battey last a good while...😀

Great scooter, but check out the 6 month review. See video for installation tip.
The media could not be loaded. 6 MONTH UPDATE:I wanted to update my review after more time with the 5TH WHEEL V40PRO scooter. A few key things to know:• The advertised 25-mile range is only achievable if you’re riding in eco mode the entire time—which is very slow.• If you’re using sport mode (20 mph, ideal for commuting), expect to charge it every night. True sport modelasts for about 3 miles before the speed starts to decline.• The headlight is not very bright, so if you’ll be riding at night, you’ll probably want to buy an additional lightfor better visibility. This isn’t a dealbreaker for me, but it’s something to be aware of. I still love the scooter and imagine this is the case for most models in this price range—unless you’re willing to spend thousands on a high-end one.Just wanted to share my honest experience so others know what to expect! 🚀🔋ORIGINAL REVIEW:The 5TH WHEEL V40PRO has been a game-changer for me! From its sleek design to the smooth ride, I’ve enjoyed every moment using it. The turn signals are a great feature that adds safety and convenience, especially in busy areas. It’s fast, reliable, and the battery life is fantastic, making it perfect for daily commutes or weekend adventures. One thing to note—the instructions for setting up the folding mechanism weren’t as clear as I hoped. I’ve attached a video that walks through the process to make it easier for anyone else who might have the same issue. Once you get that figured out, this scooter is absolutely perfect!Highly recommend the V40PRO if you’re looking for a high-quality, fun, and efficient way to get around!

We bought for our daughter and she absolutely loves it!
Our daughter wanted one for her birthday so we chose this one. She loves it and so do our adult boys. It’s very sturdy and actually goes pretty fast.

Perfect for San Francisco daily Commuter.
I'm a 200lb male. This scooter has been amazing, I've had it for roughly 6 months, and it's been extremely durable. It climbs the SF hills (although I do have to give it a kick on steeper hills). It's about 40 lbs, so I can carry it and bring it into the store with me (I put it in the shopping cart). I commute roughly 2-3 miles to my work, then I charge it at the office and go back. (I can go 2 full commutes, there and back, without having to charge it).I also can load it up with groceries, have my backpack on, all that, and it still makes it up the hills (but I do have to kick/push with one leg). The turn signals are amazing, the lights help you be visible to cars. You can blend seamlessly into car traffic, or pedestrian traffic (hop off & walk it).Really solid choice. Does great in the rain (but watch out for the slippery trolley tracks, lol). A really solid, affordable choice. We'll see how it holds up over the next 6 months!
