Great to keep a couple in your changing bag so you can sterilise on the go. When visiting family or friends just pop your dummies, bottles, teethers etc in the bag, add a little water and microwave.

The bags are ideal for those in a situation like my daughter. New baby in the house but she is very keen to breast feed but up much of the night. A breast pump allows her to express milk and then store it so that her husband who is on paternity leave can share some of the burden in those small hours.The washed breast pump parts can be added to one or more of the bags. Follow the instructions. Fill the bags with the correct amount of water and microwave for the interval depending upon the power of your machine. Be careful when it dings - do not take the bag out too soon - follow the instructions. Even then be very careful in opening the bags - remember that superheated steam can be at any temperature above 100C and is invisible. Nasty burns can occur if one is not careful.The components are sterile cool and ready for use within a few minutes and thus ready for the next batch of milk. Of course it is not just breast pump parts but other things like soothers that mums and dads may offer the baby that can be sterilised.Bags can be refused and there is a useful marker system on the outside of the cardboard packet containing the bags.These are a quick and effective way of making sure that baby’s feeds, soothers etc are kept safe and sterile.Just follow the instructions - many thanks.

These bags are genius! They offer good capacity so you can easily fit multiple items in a single bag. The instructions printed on the back are simple, clear, concise and therefore easy to follow. You can sterilise a whole range of items within minutes.With each bag reusable up to 20 times (that's 320 sterilisations per packet) this product does give you great value for money. It's slim and compact, making it great to travel with. It's also chemical free which is better for our health and the environment!

I first used this type of sterilising bags (not this brand) when I was in the maternity unit and we were given one and I immediately realised how practical they were! You are able to sterilise things almost wherever you are (granted access to a microwave) and in minute the bottle, dummy, whatever it just ready to use. If you're travelling this are a game changer: just stuff a couple in your luggage and you're done.These ones confirmed how good the idea is! Each can be used about 20 times, and you can check every usage on the bag.I would not make this the everyday solution, I have a larger microwave steriliser, which combines the same practicality with a product which is not disposed of. But for occasional use, travelling, or while you're not at home, you cannot really fault them. Good product

Got to try these Bimirth sterilising bags out midweek whilst babysitting our grandchild. These are so easy to use for sterilising baby bottles, pacifiers, teethers etc.After rinsing clean the items to be sterilised you pour a minimum of 60ml of water into the bag with the items, seal the bag and pop into the microwave for anywhere between 1.5 - 5 mins depending on microwave wattage. There is a small vent for letting out steam and excess water before opening the bag. This box of 16 bags come complete with 2 small grips for handling the bag but to be honest I did not use this.They can be used up to 20 times and each bag has a counter table on front so you can mark off usage each time.These bags are so handy for taking in baby's changing bag in the event that you run out of clean bottles and also save on space.I would recommend these Bimirth sterilising bags for use when out and about or when travelling as most households with young children already have a sterilising kit.
