Delonghi EO2058 Convection Toaster Oven with Broiler

This works great! Dials are easy to use and cooks consistently and the convection feature works well also. Can't beat the performance for the price. Makes reheated Pizza taste FRESH even right out of the fridge with Crispy crust! Makes Grilled cheese and Toasts evenly every time.

I PURCHASED 2 OF THESE ITEMS. ONE FOR MY 82 YR OLD MOTHER WHO IS ALMOST BLIND. I THOUGHT THE DIALS WERE LARGE ENOUGH TO READ. NOT ONLY CAN YOU NOT READ THEM WITH THE SMALL PRINT BUT THEY ARE SO SMEARED I CANNOT READ THEM EITHER. I EMAILED THE DELONGHI COMPANY THREE TIMES AND TO NO AVAIL, NOT ONE RESPONSE. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE PRODUCT AND THE COMPANY. SO RIGHT NOW, I HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT TOAST AN ENGLISH MUFFIN MINE AND MY MOTHER HAS DONE NOTHING WITH HERS. VERY SORRY WE PURCHASED THIS ITEM. I DID NOT ATTEMPT TO SEND THE PRODUCT BACK AS I WAS UNABLE TO OPEN THE BOX DUE TO INJURIES AND MY MOTHER'S WAS A GIFT. OUR RETURN TIME WAS EXPIRED. LOOKS NICE ON THE COUNTER THOU.

From my knowledge this Toaster Oven broke down on us a few weeks ago. I recall trying to toast something and the timer worked but the oven would NOT heat! :( To its credit it did work for nearly 2 years (my mom opened it as a gift in 2011 for X-Mas). While it did work I was a bit more than moderately impressed. I mean I may have had to heat things in two cycles or so when using the timer but it had NEVER EVER not heated for me up at all until a few weeks ago. So for about $70 I think we got our money's worth but I'm sad to see it go because our regular toaster is dead too. o_o!!3.75 stars.

My new one is not even close to quality and performance. It is poorly insulated and heats the kitchen up including the counter top, and cabinets. Cheaply constructed too. I have used the unit enough now to say, without reservation, beware of the new De'Longhi products because they are not the ones from 20 years ago. Shameful !

I've been using this for about a month. It does a good job. The only complaint is when toasting, there is a loud ticking.

We got this for my mother who lives with us in a separate mother-in-law suite. She doesn't have an oven, just a stove top, so we thought this might be a useful gift. She's seeing what all it does, and she's thrilled with it! It fits great on her counter, and looks very attractive. We were also pleased with the price: even tho' the box was a bit scuffed, the unit itself is in perfect shape.

The dials were illegible. Most of the white lettering was gone. Called Delonghi 800 # they would not replace the knobs without me faxing the purchase order, then call them back the see if they received it. Then transfer me to another dept. Tell the hole sorry again for the third time. Then 3 weeks later I get the dial. Has to be one of the worst customer service dept I have ever dealt with.Trying to use it to toast is poor. Oven, yes toaster not a good fit at all.Then the packaging from the company who shipped it wrapped it up with a cardboard box that had been cut up.STAY AWAY from Delonghi for your own sake. Nightmare.

I only gave 3 stars for the price being much lower than local department stores. If I paid the regular price in full at a store, I would've been very disappointed.1. Scratches on top of the oven: My first thought was, 'Ok. this item must've been a returned.'2. Tray is not flat. If you put it down on a kitchen counter top or on a grilling rack, you can see this tray is NOT flat at all. I think the trays/pans manufacturer Delonghi made a contract with made a huge manufacturing mistake on this. So, my second impression was, 'This is why this toaster is being sold for such a lower price'.3. Timer knob: The toasting timer setting knob when in use is loud.4. Function: It's been doing what it was supposed to be doing :)
