This does the job well. There seems to be other similar or identical items of this type on Amazon, but I can recommend the Thinvik sweat guard as one that works well.Pros:-Inexpensive-Keeps sweat off the bike-Easy to clean in dishwasher-My purchase came in a two-pack, so I can wash it more often.Cons:None in my ~1 month of 3x/week use.

Identical to another branded sweat guard except you get two for the price of one of the competitor. Would like it if it was 6" longer so that it would cover the entire top tube but that seems to be a common design flaw in most brands. Cold hand wash is a pain but for $11 what more could you want. :)

It is nice having two guards so you have a clean one to use between trips to the laundromat. The directions state to hand wash only, yet I have machine washed each of mine 10+ times w/o showing any wear. I put the guard into a delicates bag to keep the velcro from tangling with other items and wash on cold cycle. There is less overall coverage than my old Cycleops version. Yet, for both the Cycleops and this Thinvik you will need an additional towel to cover the headset. The 6-inch long velcro straps are just long enough for my setup as they loop around the elbow pad support, but not around the whole bar. My seat is mounted on a 4-inch long aero seat post and this setup creates a 4-inch gap above the top tube which is not protected. The gap with the Cycleops guard is 2-inches. I have used each of the pair about ten times and the elastic shows no wear or degrading of the stretching. If the guard had longer velcro, then it would earn a 5-star rating.

It goes around the handlebars, it collects sweat. For the money, it does what I expected.

If you ride indoors this is a must have. After a few months of riding on my trainer the cables on my bike became so corroded that they stopped functioning and I had to replace them. I purchased these and there is now no corrosion.

I sweat a lot (even with 2 fans in an air conditioned basement) and tend to ride for 90+ minutes. After I started using these sweat guards, I would be soaked at the end of my rides and my feet were literally sloshing around in my shoes. Then I realized... when the sweat guard gets waterlogged, it drips onto and down my legs (and probably on the drivetrain too), so this is a 1 star product for me. Also worth noting - if you ride rollers, any sweat guard will block your view of your front wheel, so you can't really see if you're about to fall off.If you don't sweat a lot or ride for a long time, these sweat guards could work well for you and be worthy of 5 stars. For my situation, putting towels on the floor and giving the frame a quick post-ride wipe works much better.

Good quality. Easy to install. Easy to clean.

Straight forward product. One end fits around the stem of the seat, the other velcros around the handlebars–the fabric in between captures the sweat and protects the bike. Probably works fine on normal road and mountain bikes, however not the best fit with TT bikes.Everyone's setup is a little different, but for me this products falls short around the handlebars. The material doesn't cover the cockpit and the straps aren't long enough to weave through the aerobars and reach back to its velcro connections. The best I can do is secure it around the elbow pads, leaving the handlebars and aerobars exposed. I'm still using a towel to capture most of the sweat that falls from head / face.Also, this product is not machine washable. As you can imagine, it can get pretty gross.In short, for me, the product protects the frame of the bike but offers nothing up around the handlebars.
