Staying hydrated is important because of how dry it is where I live, and sometimes my usual water bottle just doesn't hold enough water, so I ordered this large Ello water bottle.There's a lot to like about this water bottle. The powder coat finish on the exterior is nice and consistent--it makes the bottle look like a quality product and has a little bit of texture to help with gripping it (though the 40 ounce bottle is pretty big at about 3.75" in diameter, so it's hard to grip it really securely with one hand, at least with my medium sized hands). It has a good comfortable loop on the top cap for carrying it.The wide opening is just under 2" in diameter, so you can fit most ice cubes in, even if this one won't readily fit under a lot of fridge ice dispensers. And this bottle has a lid within a lid, so you can take the bottom lid off for filling and cleaning and the top lid removes to reveal a smaller sipping spout.I don't love that the portion of the bottom lid that you grip is only about 1/4" high and smooth plastic, so getting a grip on it to remove it can be a challenge, especially if it's cranked on tight. And I don't love that the top sipping spout has pretty deep screw threads on it, which I can see becoming a place that retains gunk. At least the lid is top rack dishwasher safe.Overall, this feels like a quality water bottle. I wish it could be used with hot beverages (something that isn't mentioned in the product listing); it also cannot be used with carbonated beverages. If you need a large water bottle, it's worth checking this out.

The bottle itself is very nice and feels sturdy, but I wish that it was made clear that it’s not meant for hot or carbonated drinks. I only found out that it’s only meant for cold beverages reading the small print on the label.

I chose the 32oz cooler in the Antigua color. I purposely look for water bottles with a screwtop lid. I use mine for carbonated water and if a bottle can maintain carbonation that is most important to me. I purposely dropped this bottle to see if it would leak (carbonated water puts a lot of pressure on the seal) and am happy to report it did not leak!!The handle is wide and comfortable for my hand. The bottle holds close a liter of water and maintains the carbonation for the entire day.This is my new favorite water bottle and I definitely recommend it!!I hope this review has been helpful

Well built bottle. The color is very true to what it looks like on the listing. The cap has 2 stages. The first is a small opening with the loop part attached which is perfect for drinking. The second part removes both pieces and has a much wider opening which makes it much easier to wash. The label does say to not use with hot/carbonated beverages. I'm sure this is because of the pressure differential associated with both of those. Normal thermos' have a valve to help equalize the pressure. I tried it with only a minor amount of spray when opening. I'm sure it's fine to do but ymmv.
