It's made out of thick leather, with some solid stitching. I recommend using a leather conditioner before first time use; as without it, it's fairly stiff, which is good, as it means that it's real. (I understand it's more complex than that, but for simplicity's sake)I like everything about the watch band except that you have to use traditional lugs and a tool to put them on or take them off. If this had a quick connect lug, I would've probably come back and order a few more. But this is only an issue if you change your watch bands often, as I do.Overall, certainly not a bad purchase, and it seems it will last some time if take care of.I hope this was helpful in making a decision.

There original leather band on my Samsung Galaxy watch 3 started to break apart and delaminate so it was tinted to get a new band for it. I didn't want a cheap looking silicone band or a cheap imitation leather. When I found this top grain leather band I had to get it. The band is really nicely made and the leather feels and looks top quality. The leather is thick and the coloration is solid throughout. The leather is very stiff when you first get it but I think after some usage the material should start to become more pliable. The kit comes with a spring tool, 4 spring rods and the bands. After installing it on my watch I put it on and immediately looked the look of the band. The only thing I really didn't like was the metal buckle. I thought the metal buckle was just too big and clowny looking, so I removed it and put on the buckle that came with my original band.

This strap has a sort of Panerai vibe to it with the shape of the stainless steel buckle. It’s comfortable and easy to wear. The white stitching provides a nice contrast to the black leather.

I got this for my husband to use with his smart watch because he wanted a leather band and I thought this one would look nice. He is very pleased with the look and construction, but said he would have preferred it come with the newer easy to install posts. This one had the standard posts with no arm and you had to use an included tool to install, took him some effort to get lodged in place. He says the comfort is nice, but he would not wear for jobs that require you to use your hands a lot, like typing, because the larger buckle might interfere. Also it was very stiff when he first started wearing it and it didn't fit well until he loosened it up and it relaxed to fit his wrist, then it was much better. Overall he is very pleased with it and wears it often with no complaints.

This watchband has a very elegant look that is very versatile with a variety of watch faces. It's sturdy, well-made and comes with extra pins (because they have a tendency to spring EVERYWHERE while you are trying to install them) and a neat little tool to help dislodge the previous pins from your watch face. It will look really snazzy with the large square face watch that I plan to put with this band. I recommend!
