Mamaearth Argan Hair Mask, 200gm

I don't usually write a review but I decided to take some time out to do so for the Mamaearth argan mask. This was the first Mamaearth product that I've tried, and I was reluctant to venture away from the usual Loreal, Matrix and Wella because I am slowly transitioning into a cg-friendly routine. First things first, I don't use it on dry hair like it says on the packaging, instead I shampoo first and then apply it section by section on my marginally towel-dried hair. I keep it on for about 15-20 mins max and then wash it off. I let my hair airdry afterwards, and believe me when I say so, my hair feels ultra-soft. It does not provide any added shine to my hair but that I am sure is because of my hair's general texture, wavy-curly on the coarser side. My hair never feels "dry" or "coarse" after it dries off, as if the mask quenches all my hair follicles! I am listing the pros and cons of the product below so you can judge based off quick bullet points:Pros:1) Extremely hydrating and moisturizing2)Curly-Girl friendly, no silicones3)Budget friendly because the product will last you a long time4)Makes hair ultra-soft to touch5) Has a nice slip making it easy for you to detangle in the showerCons:1)Too heavy for people with fine hair2)The scent maybe a bit off-putting to some, but I have no problems with it at allIn short, I recommend this product for everyone with coarse un-manageable hair. I have seen results from day one itself.

As always, Amazon acts like a genie fulfilling all my gifting needs ! This is safe for moms to be and nursing moms as they are natural.It struck me, I needed an under eye cream, charcoal mask and hair mask for myself as well and if these products are good for moms then they are safe for us too. So I ordered these for myself also!!The pink and green packing is cheerful and very feminine, with an even better name ‘mamaearth ‘, that makes it obvious it is for mama and is as organic as earth :). The white containers are good quality plastic and are an elegant cylindrical shape. This brand believes in Working with moms and I even received a call from them to deal with my doubts.The USP here is that the products are WITHOUT the common but harmful ingredients found in cosmetic stuff ; parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, synthetic fragrances etc.I have used it myself and have received feedback from my sis also and now writing the review.What I likedFresh piece >> Manufacturing – 5/17 and expiry 4/19The hair mask is like a cream and it is easy to apply by simply rubbing some amount on fingers and running them through hair. You can use it in two ways –As leave in conditioner, - it is not greasy but hair don’t look glossy when it is left in and in fact look dull and stiff. You can use it like this when at home.As rinse off conditioner - Apply it on hair and not scalp, just like a conditioner but take care to dry your shampoo washed hair with towel so the mask is able to coat the hair well. Wash it after 10 -12 minutes.I checked the ingredients . The key ingredients are argan oil which is very rich in vitamin E and great for hair ; avocado oil which moisturizes, repairs, and strengthens hair; curd which even my granny used for dandruff free, silkier hair!!It has collagen which repairs damaged hair and some other good stuff like Rosemary Oil, Cedarwood Oil, Tea Tree Oil.The cream is without any fragrance and the actual smell of the ingredients like teatree oil and other oils, is little on the stronger side. I am glad, there is no effort to mask them with artificial fragrance.The problem of hair fall happens more after delivery but my sis is already loosing hair and she has given a positive feedback after using it.The hair has started becoming soft and silky and there is less of dandruff and she has noticed a little improvement in hairfall with just a 3 time usage already !!You can use it every 3-4 days.There are no cons as yet but I will update regularly.You can go for it >>> not just moms but every beauty/health conscious person

ABOUT MY HAIR TYPE :-My hair is thin but soft and scalp is oily on the top of that I am suffering from hair fall ever since my delivery. So I am searching for some hair products that can reduce the hair fall and nourishing.HOW TO APPLY THE MASK-Part the hair in two sections, take a full palm of the mask and apply from root to tip of hair. Keep it for 15-25 mins and wash with a SLS free shampoo.MY EXPERIENCE :-Though it is not mentioned anywhere on the product description whether we need to apply conditioner or not after shampooing the hair. But it strongly suggest doing that because my hair is not frizzy or dry but since I used the mask before shampoo (as per the description) I skipped the conditioner. My hair felt a little dry and frizzy.So I have finished my 1st jar and man I am loving this product. My search for a good Nourishing hair Mask has came to an end on this mask. My hair feels extremely soft and flowy. I highly recommend this.

Smells nice ...product has thick creamy consistency...as hair mask it's good but u can't use it like leave in it anything.....didn't find great results as yet..but will try for another 2tubs to move to another one.. for the price I felt its worth a try

The size and quantity astounded me. I expected it to be small. It's amazing... I also liked the packaging, which wasn't your typical foil-covered/sealed package. The fragrance is adequate. But I think it's doable, especially since the product is so good for your hair. I liked how it looked with my CURLY HAIR:) I'm sure I'll order another one soon. Did wonders for my hair.
