Want to fall in love with a man who calls her “gutter rat”? Because I fell HARD. This is a step sibling bully romance. Shes a cam girl, and he’s a biker and gamer guy. Croix is a psycho man hell bent on destroying Montana, for what she’s done. The twist HAD me. I really didn’t figure it out until a couple chapters before it all came out. Ends with an amazing HEA. If Jescie writes it, I’ll read it because I know whatever it is will be phenomenal. 5/5🌶️ smut right out of the gate.

I loved this book. I have read every book that Jescie has written and she never disappoints. Her books can be considered dark, this one definitely was, but what I love are the characters, her writing and story development and the spice!! Always off the charts, but it serves a purpose and strengthens the plot. This particular book had twists and kept me guessing. The entire story takes its time playing out and in the end everything makes sense and you love the characters more than ever!!! So so good!! Read it!

Diving into this book, I didn’t know what to expect but loved every second of it.I usually read a book so fast but this one, I savored.The relationship between Montana and Shane is so complex, they are the only two people in the world that truly understand each other.“It's exasperating, knowing your body is fixating on the most lethal person standing before you, even as your mind screams endless nos. But, as two opposing magnets do, we repel against one another, yet it's becoming increasingly clear that neither of us could exist without being on the same decrepit planet.”Yes, the smut was great but the complexity of these two characters was seriously so amazing.The way they are written on how they think and the reason for their actions made you visualize what was going on and set you in their mindsets.Also, Shane is seriously unhinged crazy.Literally does not care about his surroundings, just does his own thing.The way that he hates but is obsessed with Montana though, chefs kiss."I've imagined it. Ending you so beautifully.""But killing is a copout, and raw torture is an art form that brings consistent peace to a chaotic soul."But also, her crazy matches his crazy for sure!He thinks that all of what he is doing to her will break her but she loves every second of it.“Don't you just hate it when all your plans go up in flames?" I say, thinking of my stepbrother and his creative displays of affection."What darkness have you carried into your next phase, Montana?” I whisper, working to contain my desires."You," she whispers back. "You are the darkness that I want to wear proudly."I don’t know if I will ever be truly over this book.Jescie Hall definitely brought two characters to life that are so beautifully broken and aren’t whole when they are together but their jagged edges piece together to not fit the mold of society, something dark and disturbing and theirs.“With my every flaw and imperfection, there is a man who embraces my darkness, fosters it as his own, and craves the madness of my twisted mind as chaotically as I do his. O M G! This blew my expectations out of the water and then some! I am speechless and honestly having a hard time even expressing how much I adored this book!This story was absolutely dark, deep and well-rounded as well!I have said it before, and I will say it again Jescie is a poet. She was made to write PERIOD and NEVER misses!The plot was PLOTTING HARD! I was not expecting for this book to go the route it did and honestly very impressed how much she was able to put in without anything being lost. The Murder Mystery aspect of this story just made it all the better.When I think of a true Enemies to lovers / Bully Romance this hit the nail on the head.I didn't just fall in love with the Main Characters, the side characters were just as amazing, I would love to see something more about two of them... cough cough.Montana and Shane are truly perfection and I HIGHLY recommend giving this one a read!

Now, this author isn’t known for a bully romance, and I knew going in it was going to be, but this tops all bully romances I have read. I did NOT expect this book to be as great as it was. I mean, yes her books are always great but I was expecting a normal run of the mill step sib romance…. And I was SO WRONG. This book was so so much more than I ever could have thought.She is so great at writing a broken boy, wether it be mind, body or soul, or in this case, heart… so broken that we have no choice but to absolutely fall head over heals in love with these boys.If you are a Jescie fan, this is a bit of all her past books combined into one, and if this is going to potentially be a first Jescie read, WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!!
