Brilliant Dual Band Router at great price
Always wanted a dual-band router without antennas under 5K which isn't a Chinese brand. Finally got one!Linksys is an expensive brand and this price is a charm. The router feels sturdy and solid. The looks are minimal as well since there aren't any of those ugly attention-seeking antennas.About the performance, see the images for your reference. My internet speed is 150 Mbps.Old router speed: 23 Mbps Download | 35 Mbps UploadLinksys speed at 2.4Ghz : 94 Mbps Download | 74 Mbps UploadLinksys speed at 5Ghz : 148 Mbps Download | 157 Mbps UploadThe router has Easy Browser setup as promised where you don't have to do the technical stuff. The router also comes with multiple interchangeable power adapter heads to be used in any possible electrical plug.Brilliant buy. Really happy with this one!Hoping you all get all the info with the speed comparison.

The router has a major issue with WiFi. On the connected devices it frequently asks to sign-in to wifi. Once the ISP credentials are set on the router the wifi/internet connectivity on the devices should be seamless. However none of the devices connected over WiFi worked without facing the sign-in the issue. And the sign-in issues goes away after couple of restarts. And at times DHCP stops assigning the IPs. The devices get stuck at "obtaining IP address". This can only be solved either by a reboot or a hard reset.I replaced the router and the new one also had the same issue. Even though i had this router for only two days, I was frustrated to the core with the constant restarts I need to perform on both the router and the devices to get this working. I have returned the replacement and went back to using my old TPLink router which works like a charm.I guess the latest firmware has a bug or the recent batch has a hardware defect. I tried all possible solutions ( changing the Channel width, running only on one of the band, reserving static IP for the devices, adjusting DHCP lease time) and none fixed the issue. Strictly speaking there shouldn't be any scope for troubleshooting. Setting up of a router should be effortless, not frustrating like this.

All these big brands yet an average Joe (LINKSYS E5600)
I used to be a fan of the Linksys brand, never used it myself but wanted to have it someday. All these big reviews but this is just another disappointing router. I have a pretty basic fiber connection of 60mbps and a fleet of ~10 devices running at home. Currently the router is updated to latest firmware as checked from Linksys website. Also there is a lot of interference in 2GHz band in this are and very less to not at all congestion in 5GHz band.1. The 5GHz band performance varies: I used the first router for some days, got great coverage with 5GHz band.Near the router it got full 867mbps link, -30dB signal and full ISP speed. Even at farthest corners link speed of 100mbps, full ISP speeds, -60dB signal strength. So the 5Ghz band pretty much head to head with 2.4Ghz band in range. Returned the product due to another issue. Got the replacement. Tried that. This time the link speed was only 340mbps near 1ft from the router and internet speed of 40mbps signal level at <-60dB. When tried from next room the signal sometimes vanishes, sometimes shows <-78dB. Internet speed fluctuates at 4mbps. Maybe untested hardware? At least if you get a properly working device this product has farthest reaching 5Ghz band ever seen on this price range. Thats the only reason 4 stars for this average joe.2. Parental control bug: While running the router with parental control enabled on a device, all of a sudden I notice that internet stops working in all other devices. Remove the parental control, at internet is back. This issue occurs at random and I am not able to reproduce.3. MAC binding bug: I use MAC binding with all my routers. After running alright for few days, one of the device refuses to connect to the 5GHz band citing authentication problem. This time I had to turn that MAC filter off so the device was able to connect back. This issue occurs at random and I am not able to reproduce.4. DHCP reservation bug: Tried adding all the devices/few devices to dhcp reservation list. Internet stops immediately across devices.5. Device doesnt show up in linksys app.6. Bandwidth control feature is not supported.7. DD WRT not supported natively.8. Parental control is very basic.9. Unable to find all devices in parental control list.10. Most important: No 160MHz support on 5GHz. Only 8 5GHz channels are supported. DFS bands not supported. Hence not suitable to use in highly congested apartment. This is still better than the overrated TPLINK C6 and C80 which supports only 4 channels in that band. How many more bugs are even waiting to show up upon usage. Better get this returned. Maybe try the ASUS RT58U router. Even better old TP LINK TL-WR841N, which gives lesser issues, at least better than this. Maybe all this is experienced by demanding users who need these advanced features, maybe all routers in this price range are average joes. Better stick with old tested hardware.Update: Returned this piece and got hands on TP LINK C6 V2(EU). Definitely Linksys got a long way to catch up in terms of stability range and firmware features. Amazon review system is also trash, nobody knows the real rating for a specific product these days as all reviews and ratings are jumbled up for multiple products in the same place.

Good one.
Got it within 2 days with prime. Installed it immediately. Works great. Cant make the 5GHz signal cross more than one brick/cement wall as expected. 2GHz signal crosses 3 walls also, and covers a 950 sq ft flat when placed at the edge of the area (not the middle as recommended). I assume middle placement will be enough for most average sized homes. Will be using this with an additional WAP so as to get 5 bars all through the house. Now for the speed - excellent. Tested with at least 10 simultaneous devices. Transmits 2 parallel HD video streams without lag. I tested this with my phone and my husband's phone playing different HD movies from our network drive simultaneously. Go for it.

Excellent coverage, durable build and easy to setup
The router looks very high end, the setup process is made very easy by the setup wizard. Even though the router has internal antennas, the coverage is quite decent in my 2500 sq feet apartment. I have a 150MBPS Jio connection and on 5GHZ I am able to get 130/140MB as per speed check, I have connected the Jio ONT to the router using a Cat 5E cable. Bootup is quick (we have frequent power cuts). The router looks sleek and upmarket. Comes with a set of changeable plugs, you can choose the best/snug fit based on your plug point. For someone looking for a high-end router under 4000, this is the one to buy.

Can I get the Wi-Fi password?
I have been using this router for about 6 months now. Let me just say it's been a pleasure. I have Fido internet and was not satisfied with the quality and range of their provided router. The signal does not go through my entire house.I turned off the routing functionality on the Fido router and plugged the Linksys on in. Instantly the signal was much better. I think everybody knows what the actually router looks like from the pictures and to me it doesn't really matter that much as long as the correct functionality is there.Below I have attached a picture of what the settings page looks like. One of the coolest features I have seen on this router that I haven't seen before is the network map (second picture below). It shows you what devices are currently connected and what network they are on whether on the 2.4 or 5 GHz frequency and what the device ID and type is. I think this feature is a great visual cue to get a sense of how cluttered your network is. Also if you see a device you don't recognize, it may be time for a password change.Parental controls are great for those who want to shelter their kids from the dark corners of the internet. The guest access allows you to give your guests a temporary Wi-Fi password instead of the permanent one. Media prioritization allows you to prioritize certain devices, applications, or games that you want to have a lower latency (Call of Duty, etc.) or less buffer time. Speed test works well as an indication as to whether you're getting the full potential out of this router. If you're not there is a great troubleshooting tool to help you. And lastly, there is the ability to add a USB drive to the back of the router as on-board storage that all the devices on the network can access. This is great for file sharing (perhaps larger files that you don't want to upload to the cloud such as movies or games). The wireless settings are the same as I have seen in the past although that means that no feature is left out. There is even a scheduler to turn on / off access to your wireless network based on the day of the week (again, great for parents).Lastly, there is port forwarding functionality for those who need them for downloading torrents or hosting game servers. The menu system is pretty intuitive and modern. Not clunky like some of the routers I have used in the past. All in all, if you're tired of router troubles and want a device that will likely save you many headaches - I do definitely recommend this one. I have had no problems with it in the past 6 months and do not predict many in the foreseeable future.

So far so good!
I upgraded to this from a Linksys EA3500 (due to poor signal length and frequent dropouts) and it has worked amazing so far. My wifi range has improved greatly, I'm pretty much always connected to the 5ghz network (even at distances situations where I don't think I should be), and I haven't experienced a single dropout / need to restart the router yet. The mobile app is also very clean and intuitive to use.You can do what I did and waste days reading endless router reviews / comparisons, or you could just purchase this affordable router and get on with your life. I'd recommend the latter.

excellent wirelesss router - simple to set up with excellent features including prioritization and memo
installed this router with easy set up and start up - no issuesgreat range and seems to do a good job in sharing bandwidth as well as giving the opportunity to prioritize devices and users - great for the admin !only challenge came where I increased the internet speed and the router did not allow the increased speed but rather capped it - this took a while to troubleshoot and was "fixed" by a hard reset of the router and recreating the full set upthe set up pages are simple and easy to use with good helpful visuals on connected devices to help understand what is going on in your networkhas been in use for two weeks trouble and issue free otherwise

Definite improvement from my previous router.
This was not as easy as my old one to hook up, but it was certainly worth doing! I was replacing a TP-Link AC1750, which back in it's day was a very good value for money, Wi-Fi router. After moving to a larger house, I put in a Wi-Fi extender, just to try and save some money. The extender I bought has a "meter" on the top to show the signal strength, with thee old router it was only halfway, with the new router, it goes all the way! I have found that my computer, (and other Internet using products), run faster and no, (so far), buffering when streaming movies either.

Works very well
I had an issue with my Modem-Router combo having terrible wifi signal (Modem was from 2014) so i decided to use a bridge to a router. I decided on the AC1900 as it wasn't the cheapest but also not the most expensive. This router wifi works very well. It also has many features the modem-router didnt have such as disabling the broadcasting of my SSID. It also goes delivers signal through about 3 walls, one being 6-inch concrete, so can't complain! Would recommend.
