It's instant. Good enough to use at home. It's battery operated and comes in its own plastics container.

However, it is VERY SLOW at reading the temperature. Takes about a good 30-40 seconds to reach 99°C from room temperature. Also, it does tend to read 1°C lower.

Takes ages(1 minute or more) to display an accurate reading, not suitable for trying to cook meats to temperature as quick reading is needed for the same.

Waste of money... The monitoring is too slow.. By the time it reaches a templerature... The product temperature has already changed by then...

Not working properly..cheep quality...I was returned the product on 29 oct but still the refund not credited... never buy this product guy...I am telling my own experiences....
