iRobot 600 Series Roomba 606 Vacuum Cleaning Robot (Black)

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  It’s a year since we bought the iRobot 606 (April 2018). We have natural tandur stone tiles and carpets on the floor. I chose the 606 on the advice of the iRobot office in Bangalore who said this model was more suited to irregular surfaces like natural stone floors. It’s always helpful to talk with them and send them a pic of your floor and clear any doubts before you purchase one , even if you are ordering through Amazon, like I did.I run it every morning and it meanders through the house for around 2 1/2 hours or longer till its battery runs out, while we go about our own work. It may seem random in its pattern of movement but it eventually covers the entire space and our floors and carpets are always clean. I seriously think it does a better job than sweeping, the fine dust that it collects would normally be raised by a broom and settle on surfaces. I rarely need to mop at all, just spills which we clean up right away. Under the beds is always fluff free now and places it can’t go, I clean occasionally. It has made our lives that much simpler.I empty the dust container daily and clean the dust filter, brush and other accessories once a week. I’ve found it easier to have an extra set of generic accessories, which you can buy at far less cost on Amazon, so even when I’m lazy to clean them, I have a set of clean accessories at hand. I would recommend the iRobot for everyone who prefers not to have a maid and manage their home themselves.

This fancy toy would not dock itself properly. Keeps on pushing the cradle from left to right and right to left and in circles even though it is supported by the wall behind the cradle. After spending close to 20K INR, iRobot can't provide a demo or any kind support to solve the issue. Instead I was told to see Youtube video or reach out to their service centers to see if there is a problem with the toy. You guys won't last long if you don't mend your ways.

After having a favorable experience with Roomba for years in the USA, I purchased this product for my parents home in India. Running the Roomba for the first two months was no problem. Then there was a bad power surge. It damaged the home base, and the battery started showing zero power. My parents decided to take it to a local repair shop. Had the home base repaired which cost around Rs. 1500. Also purchased a step down voltage converter to convert 220 V to 110 V AC as recommended by the repair technician. (The home base is stated to accept 100 V to 240 Volts). Also had to have the battery replaced which cost another Rs. 3800. The battery charged fully and Roomba ran fine once after that. But following that, after docking for recharging, the battery discharged completely probably because roomba did not dock properly. Now I am waiting to see if it recharges as it should or there is some other problem. Since Roomba 606 goes into power saver mode, it is not easy to tell if Roomba is properly docked and charging. I wish the manufacturers would make them where the user would have the option of using a power saver mode or non power saver mode. Bottom line is make sure that you purchase a good surge protector for your Roomba, and in my opinion also buy a step down converter to step the voltage down to 110 V. to protect it for high voltage. It would undoubtedly be a small extra expense but will help protect your small investment. Lastly, when not using Roomba for extended periods, remember to charge the battery fully and then remove the battery and store it in a safe, cool, dry place.

Cleans up the floor better than a human can with a broom. Don’t worry about it going in random order, just let it run, floor will be clean in the end.

The box didn't have an electrical cord at all. On subsequent complaint on this platform as well as the suppliers, I have received the cord ASAP and am very happy with the product and the performance.

It's fantastic! We have a pet and need to clean the floors often. Roomba can work when we are sleeping, when we are outside and when we are in different rooms. It reduced my house work greatly and I have more free time. It cleans much better than sweeping and dry mopping, floor looks shiny.

I bought this for my mother so that she doesn’t have to depend on a maid to clean the house. She’s says it cleans better than a maid as it goes under hard to reach places such as under the bed and leaves the floor as good as it’s been mopped because it collects all the dust. She cleans it on her own without difficulty as it is designed to be simple to keep it cleaned after it has for moshed it’s rounds. She’s had it for a month and is absolutely happy with it!

any thing big is not getting picked , Only dust, hair , small particles are getting picked up. serves my purpose, i just quickly take off big items, crushed paper, biscuit and chocolate wrappers which my son drops and then use it. does the job well .(better than expected). I have to clean it once a week else the hair stops the side brush from spinning. Once i clean it, works perfect again.

Excellent performance - much better than our previous models. All in all a sound investment

Dire che questo prodotto è sensazionale è dire poco, facile da utilizzare con un semplice tocco, dopo di che fa tutto lui! Pulisce e arriva nei posti più difficile togliendo la polevere negli angoli e tra le fughe delle mattonelle. Prodotto consigliatissimo!

Hace bien poco que lo tengo pero muy contenta, la batería dura 1 hora para 45m2 bien para mas no lo recomendaria

Il robot funziona bene anche se talvolta non riesce a tornare alla base. Non mi è chiara la logica con cui si muove che sembra abbastanza casuale e infatti a volte non pulisce tutte le parti di una stanza. Comunque è molto comodo perché toglie la maggior parte della sporcizia che si accumula sui pavimenti e, se viene avviato una volta al giorno, permette di avere i pavimenti abbastanza puliti. Tuttavia è rumoroso quanto una normale aspirapolvere e, poiché per circa 100 mq. impiega un'ora, è consigliabile avviarlo prima di uscire di casa.

Me gusta mucho cómo limpia aspira muy bien y que pase varias veces e insista en los rincones.Lo que menos me gusta es el ruido y que se lia con los flecos de las alfombras
