These grinding wheels are holding up well. I sharpen a lot of mower blades, and these work well.

These can do the same, but they can also gouge surfaces if you want to, removing larger amounts of material to not just clean, but shape, which means you can use them to sharpen something like a shovel or clean up the edges of sharp, jagged metal or hard corners. Or if you have a big, unsightly weld, for example, you can grind the surface down flat and make it uniform, cleaning and shaping at the same time.If these perform less well than other name-brand products, and that's an if, the difference isn't significant and these are much better priced. I see no reason why you shouldn't buy a bunch of these instead.

The media could not be loaded. I have used a lot of grinding wheels over the years. I have tried many different brands and these are as good as most and better than some of them. All that I ask of my grinding wheels is that they last a reasonable amount of time, don't shatter while I'm using them and that they do a good job of grinding away metal. These wheels have met my expectations in all three points. These have held up well and I am glad to recommend them.To help understand how I rate items:My philosophy is, that for a rating system to be effective, the highest rating and the lowest rating should be reserved for a relatively small percentage of the best and the worst products. If I give a product four stars, it is because I believe it is a very good product. To get five stars from me requires a product to go above and beyond and really impress me beyond my expectations. By the same token, a product has to be VERY, VERY bad to get only one star from me. One thing that I DON'T take into consideration with my ratings is price. I may make a general statement such as “this is a good value” but it will not affect my star rating. The reason is that product prices change, even from day-to-day. Also what one person may consider a good price someone else might not. I feel it is more important to review the quality and features of a product and let the buyer decide whether the current price is worth it to them. Another thing that I don't take into consideration are issues with shipping. This is because the seller does not always have control over that. Following is each of the five categories of *stars* and how I assign them to a product:***** Five stars - The product exceeded my expectations. I really love it and would actively suggest it to friends and would certainly purchase it again if needed.**** Four stars - The product met my expectations. It does what it claims to do. I like it and would recommend it to someone if they asked about it. I would Most likely purchase it again if needed .*** Three stars - The product is average and for the most part does what it claims. There may be a few things I don't like about it. If I recommended it to someone, I would state my reservations. I may purchase it again if I could not find a better alternative.** Two stars - The product fell far short of my expectations. It may, in some respects, do what it claims to do but has far too many problems to overlook. I would never recommended it to someone nor would I ever purchase it again. There is a good possibility I would return it.* One star - The product is terrible. It has way too many cons and few if any pros. I would actively warn my friends away from it and would most likely return it if possible.

These are decent angle grinder disks.. Nothing really special about them.. I have tried a lot of different brands over the years, from name brand ones like Dewalt, to generic ones.. IMO, there really has not been a huge difference from one to the next.. One might leaver a little rougher of a grind, while others might be a bit smoother.. These, they are just kind of average in their grind, wear ability, etc.. Nothing to write home about, and nothing to complain about.. As you can see, they come shrink wrapped in bunches of 5, and those are put in a box.

Fit my angle grinder. Offer a coarser grinding action and seem to last a long time. Used on carbon steel with good results to prep for welding. Removed paint, rust, and misc. schmudts without clogging.

Good to have many grinding wheels on hand to complete various tasks. If one wheel wears out too fast, there are extra to complete the job. Made quick work of screws and nails protruding in places they shouldn’t be. Used on metal to remove burrs after cutting or snipping to size.

These grinding wheels are two thumbs up and five stars... but their lack of a good case is not...They come poorly packaged but the item themselves are very nice and high end and professional.I just wish they came as well packaged as any product made this professional deserves to be transported.-1 star for coming in nothing but cheap plastic in a cardboard box.... ugh...
