This pack of wallpaper scrapers arrived in a plastic zip lock bag with each scraper individually packaged in a plastic bag. In the set there are x5 scrapers including 1”, 2”, 3”, 4” and 5” width blades which offers excellent variety for an assortment of tasks. Each scraper has an overall length of 20.5cm including the handles.The stainless-steel blades have a good thickness of approximately 0.8mm which offers both flexibility but also durability, so you feel confident that it’s not going to snap when pressure is applied. However, the edges of the blades aren’t very sharp (they don’t taper to a thinner width) therefore this set of wallpaper scrapers don’t quite have the dexterity that ones it the past I have used have.However, they are comfortable to use with a grippy rubber handle and I have used a few of them over an afternoon in conjunction with a pair of gloves and haven’t had any issues with my hands being sore. The blades are also easy to clean down after use, although I would suggest drying it off with a cloth after cleaning. The scrapers also feature a hanging hole for storage purposes as well.I am using the scrapers for DIY home projects including removing wallpaper and applying filler into dents and smooth off the wall surface ready for a paint layer. However, thy can also be used to remove paint and sticky objects from surfaces and can even be used for baking and artwork!Priced at £8.99 at the time of reviewing, for x5 scrapers this is a reasonable price but they aren’t the sharpest of implements so this is worth bearing in mind dependent on your requirements. However, they feel very solid, are ergonomic to use and suit my application well, so I am happy to recommend them.
