Follow the instructions and you will be shocked at the amount of gunk that you flush out of your cooling system. I used it on a classic car and it caused no issues. All the external parts of my cooling system were new, re cored rad, new water pump, so my interest was in cleaning out the block and it seems to have done that very well. It is a little more involved than the other flushes that you can buy needing draining and refilling the system several times. Most other product describe themselves as radiator flushes rather than system flushes and frankly I don’t think they would be up to the job.

My heat exchange on my 03 combo was blocked no heat at all and the coolant tank was also rusted up left this stuff in for 5 days and loads of dirty stuff came out but it cleaned up the plastic tank and my heaters now work .

I've tried everything trying to rid my old motor of a rusty cooling system/plugged heater core..even down to citric acid flushes which can be dangerous for aluminium.i left it in for 10 days total.this stuff worked great,developed a leak afterwards but after disassembly the pipe was on the way out anyway.all in all highly recommended
