Does the job perfectly.

First impressions of these were good, I trust the munchkin brand so feel confident using these spoons for my 6 month old baby. We started weaning this week and I’ve tried the spoons every day so far, I’ve listed my thoughts below:Pros:- He seemed to be able to hold/ grip them okay and at the right end most of the time- I like that they are flat on both sides so no wrong way for him to hold them- Great they are dishwasher safe so easy to clean- They look niceCons- I’m struggling to get behind the holes in them, he enjoys smacking them on the highchair table and watching all the food fall out and then when he finally tries to eat it there’s nothing left on the spoon. I do get the concept though so maybe will just take a few more weeks to see the benefit of itOverall I’m glad we have these and I’ll continue to use them so I’d be happy to recommend.

According to the packaging its for Stage 1 and Stage 2.Of which, Stage 1 is the green spoon which has raised texture spoon head, double sided and for the purpose of purees.Stage 2, has two blue spoons, for semi-solid foods, but a smooth spoon head.The spoons have bendy flexible heads so if it was to get twisting or baby wants to refuse the spoon the spoon won't be hurtful to them. It's mentioned that this is not a chew toy and should not be used as a teething toy.I found it difficult to hold in hand. Had to resort to pinch holding with the tips of my fingers and thumb to avoid obscuring the spoon head.Its great for little babies to get a hold of. But if you are feeding feels a wee bit small.Cleaning is easy and can be washed in a dishwasher (top rack only)Colours are inviting and the spoons are rounded all over, very smooth. Not sharp rubber or plastic edges.

I use these spoons when stirring beads into melted pvc to make picky pads. The feel comfortable and are made very well. A good set of baby spoons.

Munchkin is one of those brands where you know you are in for a good quality product and these first feeding dip spoons don't disappoint.They are the perfect size for little hands to hold, and grip which encourages dexterity and self feeding. They come as a pack of 3 ( 2 blue and a green). They can be used for purees or semi solid foods and they are dishwasher safe which is fantastic!Overall another great product from Munchkin.I hope you found my review helpful :)

Used these before and were fine and this new pack melted in the steriliser

These are the first my baby has tried if it’s kind and I think they are pretty good! They actually do pick up her purees and she can get a bit off the spoon into her mouth with each scoop. They are dishwasher safe and they look pretty cool too. The downside is that they don’t have a stopper around the spoon to stop her from shoving the spoon too far like the other spoons she has. I do like that it can be held any way and it still grabs puree though.

These are great! I like that the set of three have different functions so they will see your child through their first food experiences. Nice quality and bright colours, I'm very happy with these!
