Great product for the $
The 6mm camera head is small enough to get into the tightest areas when diagnosing automotive systems. I use this one with the short lead to inspect brake pads without taking the wheels off. It's already paid for itself many times over in the time saved removing wheels. The image is clear and the illumination is great.

Excellent value
This endoscope is higher quality than expected at this price point. Easy to use, video quality is very good and recorded still images and videos are very good. Overall this is a fine, well made product at a very affordable price point.

Nice little toy but don't expect professional use out of it
Focal lenght is too long for very close objects but when in focus the picture quality and screen of the device are not too bad.Provided SD card to record videos and save photos is a nice touch... but the card is so cheap it died the first time I transfered files to my computer... Didn't try with a proper card after, so can't say if it's the card that was just bad or the device that killed the card...Edit: After a few days, the whole device blank screen, like if the OS was corrupted or something. No way to restore or fix it. It's a shame really, because it worked really well for the short period that.

This tool saved me hundreds of dollars (or more)
After pulling a bad glow plug in a used diesel engine, I noticed that the tip was broken off. If that tip had fallen into the cylinder then running the engine would cause severe damage. My choices were to either risk the damage, pay to have the engine torn down, or somehow get a look in the cylinder. The hole for the glow plug tip was just over 5mm (0.2"). If you survey what's available on Amazon, this is the current minimum size for a borescope/endoscope (note that the camera on this has a thread cover that increases the width to 5.5 mm; I had to remove that for this job). This tool allowed me to get a good look in the cylinder. The side camera was absolutely critical, given the angle of the plug hole shaft did not allow the main camera to see the whole cylinder, and the length of the shaft did not allow the flexible cable to be bent to see the rest. The pic above is the side camera with the camera fully advanced (i.e. front camera touching the piston head). The focal length of the camera was great for my use. Downloading the captured images from the SD was straightforward.I'd have given this 5 stars except for one aspect of the UI. The camera view can be rotated 90° at a time; however, if you take a picture the camera reorients to 0°, takes the image in that orientation, and leaves the view that way. This makes it very difficult to keep one's bearings, and for this purpose I needed to ensure I saw the entire base of the cylinder. Thanks to this tool, I was able to confirm the cylinder was clear and I can start the engine with a new glow plug installed.
