Well Build
The Erised Bifros Compact Travel Umbrella seems very well built and very compact. I like that you push the button to open the umbrella and the same button to close it.

Great performing automatic umbrella that's also very stylish looking!
This automatic umbrella performs as expected. The automatic open/close feature works smoothly and is a great feature to have especially when getting in and out of the car as well as any door opening with just a simple press of the button. Since this is a travel umbrella, it fits well inside my backpack as well as underneath my seat, but despite being travel size, it's still large enough to cover myself an my wife under the same umbrella. That said, what I also really like about this umbrella is the genuine wood handle as well as the blue color. It just looks so nice and adds a whole level of sophistication to the umbrella. Would highly recommend this umbrella to anyone looking for a sturdy and reliable umbrella in addition to being very fashionable looking.

Good quality but it doesn’t close very well
Fits nicely in my driver’s side door

Very nice Umbrella!!!
I wanted a non-black umbrella that would give me a unique look. I chose red because it would be easy to see not just in a pile of umbrellas but also for better visibility during daytime use. This umbrella holds up well and feels solid. I have not used it in any heavy winds as of yet but so far so good! The wood handle adds a classy touch to this and it feels great holding. I have always loved the auto open and close button feature since my grade school days when they just came out. This is a quality umbrella that is definitely worth every dollar spent.

Excellent umbrella with UV features
This umbrella is quite nice, the quality of the wooden handle is very satisfying and gives a very premium finish, the button works as expected and opens the umbrella very nice and seamlessly, although you do have to pull down the handle which I feel is a bit more work in itself. Although when opened, it’s not as sturdy as the more premium brands, it can hold very nicely all the same. The metal structural supports are plentiful and sturdy. I feel confident that the umbrella will hold up to strong winds and disastrous weather without any issues. Overall, it's a great pickup if you're in the market for a reliable umbrella at a cheaper price point.

Compact but a little bigger than expected
This umbrella is great. Twelve ribs makes it very sturdy. The button functions properly to put it up and let it down, but you have to manually close the arm completely. The wooden handle is a nice touch. It is compact compared to standing umbrellas. It offers wide coverage and it perfect for rainy Seattle. The measurements listed are correct so check them if you have concerns about it fitting into small places like a backpack or purse.

Low quality
After only 2 uses it got stuck in open position, trash!

Classy umbrella
The handle on this is beautiful wood, slightly weighted so you know it’s good quality. It has a metal button on the handle to extend AND collapse it, and it does both with power and speed, so you just need to push it back down into the locked position. It comes with a fitted nylon case which is a bit hard to put on by yourself though; I would just use the snap closure and be fine with it. It also has a wrist strap but I haven’t used it yet. Would definitely recommend.

Looks veryy nice!
Its compact to carry it around and looks very stylish to use as well. Very nice blue colour. Function wise when you press button to open the umbrella it makes a little noise and startles you but no issues with usage and its very cool. Would highly recommend!

Compact and Classy
The wood and metal of this umbrella, as well as the overall colour scheme, give it a surprisingly classy look for the price. The metal hardware has a bronze or or brass finish, judging by its dark, slightly golden yellow hue. It matches well with the dark blue waterproof fabric of the main umbrella, which is itself a very nice colour. The hardware in the canopy looks decent. The handle has a useful strap for hanging or holding more securely, which seems to be a faux leather with a soft suede texture. The whole thing is slightly heavier than expected, because of the wood and metal handle, which gives it a nice weighty feeling. Not all umbrellas work the same, and this one has my preferred button mechanism where you press it once to deploy it, and then press it a second time to partly collapse it, except for the shaft, without needing to use physical force to compress it back down. This makes it easier to collapse quickly when you get inside without needing to stop and press it back into place right away. A nice plus.Overall, it's a surprisingly nice and classy looking umbrella for the price, and I'm happy with it. A good pick.

Great Quality Umbrella, Compact Size When Closed, Large When Open
This Travel Umbrella from Erised's Bifrost is quite compact when collapsed measuring only 13.8" in length and 2" in diameter making only slightly longer than my tiny Knirps Collapsible umbrella.Once opened, this umbrella measures a generous 41.3" across which is plenty of room to keep two people comfortably out of the rain. My Knirps umbrella only measures 37" across when open and can be a little small for two people to share. This umbrella has an automatic open and close design that works very well, and the 12 metal rib supports and stretchers make it less susceptible to flipping inside out in high winds. There's an ergonomically shaped real wood handle and an attached leather wrist strap giving this umbrella a more upscale look and feel. The umbrella canopy is made of high quality UPF50+ fabric that's wear resistant, quick drying and easy to clean. It also includes a storage sleeve that looks to be made from the same UPF50+ fabric as the umbrella canopy. All in all I'm very happy with the quality, look and price of this Erised's Bifrost umbrella and would highly recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars.

A distinguished accessory.
The media could not be loaded. It's high time someone reinvented the umbrella. We've had the same basic design for over 5000 years now, and it's time to admit that the basic design just does not work. The ribs break, the material tears, the umbrella turns itself inside out at a breath of wind or the mechanism falls apart. This umbrella does not reinvent the concept, but it at least does it about as well as it can. The handle is made of a very nice polished wood with an inset brass release button that snaps the umbrella in as well as our. The ribs feel sturdy and a reinforced, along with having the springs that expand and contract the canopy as well as adding another layer of support. The material feels thicker than most umbrellas I'm familiar with and shouldn't tear easily. The mechanism works well and has a satisfying snap when used. As for turning inside out in a wind.. well, we had a wind and rain warning here today, perfect opportunity to try this one out. I'll just say that I was able to get it to pop eventually... but I had to work at it.I don't carry an umbrella often, but when I need one, it will be gratifying to know that I've got a well made one that I can rely on.

A surprisingly deluxe travelling companion
I didn't think I'd ever be surprised by the quality of an umbrella before, but here we are! This is a great umbrella that's exquisitely crafted and has both a satisfying heft and great balance (a whippy umbrella, no matter how small, is quite unpleasant). The hardware looks and feels fantastic and the action is crisp and smooth - this is the perfect travelling companion. The handle looks great as well - highly recommended!
