Fairly Easy to Assemble – Adjustable Height – Comfort is OK
My mother needed a shower stool when she moved to assisted living, so we got this one. It works, but I wish it was a little more stable. The front and back legs are only about 11 inches apart. That makes it less stable towards the front and back. The left and right legs are several inches further apart and that provides more stability. It’s not so much of an issue when just sitting, but it’s natural to want to put your hand on the back of the stool when moving around it. When doing so, it takes very little pressure for the chair to lean over backwards. The thin pads help, but it's not the most comfortable seat, but no waterproof stool will be. My mom didn’t find the loofa of much use.

Strong
This is a super solid shower chair. The lower crossbars really make a difference. The pad is stiff but slightly thicker than most and the adhesive is strong so I expect that it will stay in place through multiple showers. I did find the pictures in the instructions a little bit confusing but ultimately it was quite easy to assemble. The included long handled loofah and shower bag are a nice touch. I don’t think that I would want a 380 pound person to sit on this chair despite its advertised strength, mainly because I think that the seat would be too small for a person that size. That said this is a solid chair and it is a great feature that you can use it with or without the back.

Better Options Available
Good basic shower chair but there are other options available that provide a better value. This shower chair had an inexpensive feel to it, the plastic seat and back rest are relatively thin and even with the "cushions" installed, it still isn't all that comfortable to sit on. The height of the chair is adjustable but only has four adjustment settings which is less than most chairs. Easy to assemble and the only tool required is included. Also include are a luffa type short back brush and a mesh storage bag.

Shower chair with seat mat
This is a good shower chair with an adjustable height level. It is not extra wide, so does better fitting in a standard bathtub. The instructions that are included makes it easy to assemble. It also has a seat mat to place on top of the seat. This is a good choice for affordable shower chair whether you will be using it in a tub or walk in shower. I feel safe and secure sitting on it. It has a back rest, but it does not have armrests.

Helpful for those with stability issues
We have another shower chair that feels a bit sturdier in construction than this one, but I feel this chair is still more than adequate for our needs. It’s easy to assemble with the included tool and it fits easily into our shower.
