Was a little more powerful than what my clippers needed, but it did charge it up fast; just got pretty warm during the charging.

The pictures and a video show the 15V adapter plugged into laptops and such. This seemed strange to me, as all normal USB outlets produce 5V, not 15V, and, AFAIK, up-converting voltage is a nontrivial thing. But I am not an expert, and if it did work, it would cut down on my travel stuff, which is important to me. So I was curious, and for $7 I had to see. Unfortunately, but not unexpectedly, the thing is just passive; it passes the 5V from your laptop or USB charger unchanged to the 15V shaver, as my multimeter showed. A 15V shaver is presumably also going to have a battery of about 15V, and 5V is not enough to charge that. It was also not enough to light the LEDs on my shaver. (Curiously, 5V *was* enough to light the LED on this converter; go figure.)To use this thing on a 15V shaver you need a special 15V charger with a USB C outlet. Googling, it appears that a Nintendo Switch comes with a 15V USB C charger. Unfortunately, I do not have any Nintendo, and even if I did, I would not take it along on trips.At the same time I ordered this thing, I also ordered two $7 complete HQ8505 chargers from other vendors (the smallest and lightest for travel and the other to replace my damaged one at home). Each of those would surely be cheaper, lighter, smaller, and less messy than this converter plus dedicated 15V USB charger plus USB C cable, and they work fine on my 1250X.At $7, this converter is not worth returning, but well worth warning others about.Additional note: I would guess the 4.3V charger *would* work fine for 4.3V shavers using the standard 5V USB output.

It looks like a quality product. However, it did not fit my particular razor. That was my fault.

I'd been looking for a replacement cable for my favorite manscaper for months without success, each one I tried being completely unable to charge my device even when said cable fit into the charging port of my body shaver; most did not. This adapter, however, worked the trick. It fit a standard USB-C cable I already have while the input side of the adapter immediately started charging my body-trimmer. It didn't cause any overheating, and charged the device normally and fully. All for just ten bucks! Definitely recommended.

I lost my charging cord for my trimmer and needed a new one. I bought this and liked that it just plugged into a c charger. It gets hot. I had mine plugged in and left the room for 15 to 30 minutes and when I came back in and checked it this thing was hot. It wasn't warm it was hot. I couldn't hold on to it for a couple sec after I unplugged it and tried to pick it up a couple min after disconnecting it and still couldn't touch it.

Do your research first before buying a replacement charger for a One Blade. This is not a universal charging adapter for all of them. My advice, just buy a second One Blade unit that comes with a charger and keep a backup blade charged at all times.

It works great when it fits! Makes it easy to use one of the thousand USB C cords I have laying around the house!Before you order, please make sure you really check the compatibility! Just because it looks similar to your shaver, does not mean that it will fit! They are very specific, and I realized with my shaver that it does not fit, but found use for it anyway. Read before buying!!!

This does the intended work. You ultimately charge your trimmer via usb-C. But it gets super hot , while charging.I don't know how long will it work. It's does come with 1 year warranty though.
