My six year old son started playing with these cubes in kindergarten. It was the first thing he’d grab when we walked in to class. Since he was going into first grade I decide to get him his own set for home, just in case they didn’t have them in first grade. My son loves playing “teacher” with them and giving his dad and I math problems with them. He loves just building with them as well. Anything that doubles as part toy part educational is a win in my book. We also like these ones because you can build them sideways too and not just up and down. Some only have a hole for connecting on one end thus limiting building possibilities. They come in a variety of colors which is nice since my son loves to make little characters out of them. They’re easy for little hands to pull apart as well. I would definitely recommend these.
