It is sometimes assumed the valve should go all the way in flush but this is not the case. It should be installed using sealant or PTFE to perform a gas tight seal. To connect the outlet valve to 8mm orange lpg gas hose a 1/2" male fulham nozzle may be required. (Click picture below for link)
