Good beginner cycling shoe
Received my shoes today and immediately took them on a test run. FYI, I'm a novice.I wear a men's 8.5. I purchased the 43 Euro and they fit fine. I have a wide foot and these were a little snug, due to that fact, but no more so than any other shoe I've owned. I rode 10 miles and my feet felt fine during the ride and afterwards. Undoubtedly, they'll stretch a bit a be an even more comfortable. My toes had good space and were not crammed at the toe of the shoe. They support both types of cleats, synthetic upper as you would expect given the price point, mesh air holes on top and on sole of shoe (I didn't know cycling shoes had breeze holes in the soles), 2 velco straps as laces, a nice stiff sole and proper cycling shoes/pedals make a difference!Overall, they felt good, looked good and are a good buy. I'll update this review if there are positive or negative developments.

Great option for indoor cycles
Most reviews on this shoe were positive so I didn't have a problem purchasing them. What I did find confusing was the sizing, where only US sizes were provided. I feel both would be helpful. But these size charts can be found on the Shimano and other websites. I wear a size 11 shoe and have a wide foot. The lack of clarity on the size chart made choosing the correct size challenging. However, I decided to go with the 11-11.5 (46) and I'm glad I did. They fit perfect. Great sizing around the toe box and they don't slip. Solid, economy, cycling shoe for the money.

Very Nice! Wide feet friendly..
I am new to peloton cycling but not new to wide shoe shopping. As a reference point: I am a size 12. If I buy a set of running mesh style Nike’s I have to pick the wide width version or go bigger in size. Looking at several brands and models in this style of shoe, none seemed to me to be wide friendly. What’s a Bigfoot to do!?Feeling like I could only gamble, I decided to just pick on looks and hopefully some reviews. In other words, i came to the conclusion I may need to just buy and try - probably several times. Argh!So I found these all black shoes and read the reviews. Some of the reviews suggested buying 1 size up. I went with the M12-12.5 version. On the box it says 12.3 or eu 48.They turned out to be really comfy and I have plenty of room. So much so, I probably could have done a straight 12 or maybe smaller.A few rides in and I am definitely happy. No pain, no problems to report. Enjoy!

Soles too slick to use for spin class. Good fit for high instep
Pros: These shoes have a tongue, instead of large elastic which means they work well for high insteps. Overall good fit. They fit my 9 1/2 feet well: which is hard to find in cycling shoes.Cons: The soles are a hard plastic (not rubber) and are very slippery on floor surfaces. This might be fine for road shoes, but a deal breaker for spin shoes. I had to return them

The shoes are extremely comfortable
These shoes are extremely comfortable. They are wider feet friendly. The sizing is the difficult part to lock down with Amazon sellers though...I wear 10.5 4E Wide New Balance for my casual shoes. I initially ordered the "10.5-11 Men" size from Amazon. This equated to a EU 45 size. This size was way too small for my foot. My feet were in pain just putting the shoe one. I then returned those after trying them on, and re-ordered the "11.5-12 Men" size. This equated to a EU 47 size. I decided to keep this size because I just want to ride my bike.EU 47 is slightly large for my foot based on the shoes that I wear. However, a EU 46 would be a perfect fit for me with my 10.5 4E wide shoe preference. I was not able to locate the 46 size, so the 47 will have to do for now. The shoes are comfortable and have plenty of room. They breathe pretty well and are stiff enough to put some power through the pedals.I would recommend these shoes to anyone. The sizing is the only weird thing about ordering these shoes.

Amazing Value on a Great Cycling Shoe
I needed new cycling shoes that would accept SPD-1 cleats for teaching Spin classes and these were significantly cheaper than other options. These have worked out great. Very comfortable, lightweight, and my feet don't get hot in them. They have just enough padding in the sole to be comfortable and the velcro straps are secure. Like all cycling shoes they're nearly impossible to walk in. The bottoms are super-slick so don't assume you're going to put them on in the parking lot and then walk in to Spin class wearing them.

Sadly it is not for moderately wide feet.
Beautiful riding shoe and I was so happy when it arrived. My foot slipped in without any notable issues other than tongue adjustment. 5-8 seconds later both feet started to tingle known as "falling asleep". The toe box just didn't have the room I needed. I ordered the 8-8.5 Men's size. No other issues and I promptly returned the pair.

A very perplexing situation.
5 stars solely on first impressions. Let me explain.I have an 11 inch foot that 11.5 shoes fit nicely. However, that size is a little hard to come by, and at times the shoe can be too narrow. Couple that with where I live, I have giant feet compared to the locals. So, I have learned a size 12 does the job, with a little extra wiggle room inside. Using these numbers, not a problem. I should note that where I live, they tend to use EU sizing conventions. As well as Japanese. On three different sizing charts, I got three different responses. If I looked at five, I would get five. A glance at Amazon's chart, says I should wear a size 46. According to Shimano's chart, I should wear a 47. For reasons I cannot explain, I ordered 48 and I got 48. According to reviews on similar shoes, Shimanos tend to fit snug. Well, these shoes are like butter. Not snug, not loose, just right.I do not know how this will help you, the potential purchaser of shoes, but if others say these shoes fit a little snug, then I completely lucked out.I will comment and update this review as I add km to the shoe. But, for the price, if they last a year, I will be happy.

Absolutely brilliant beginner shoes
I’m from Australia so I bought one size up as recommended in other reviews. I’m glad I did. They fit perfectly. I love them already. I bought them for RPM and they really make a difference to my workout. I highly recommend them.
