This works great. Plugged it in and connected with the steps the first time and now it auto-connects every time I get in my car. Sometimes before. It connects once it has power, and power goes to my ports when I unlock my car with the fob. So if I haven't put my keys in after about 15 seconds it'll unpause music on my phone and play from there. A bit annoying but it's only happened once. One of the only other problem I've had is sometimes the screen won't transition to CarPlay. I give it a little refresh by putting my car in reverse so it switches to my review camera, and when I go back to park or drive it shows CarPlay. I really can't complain though, it connects pretty quickly and I don't have to think about it when I get in the car. Far and away better than plugging in my cable every time. Only other problem is when I skip tracks on my steering wheel it takes about a full 1-mississippi to actually skip on my phone. That doesn't bother me that much, though. Unfortunately it also seems to be a pretty universal experience across the wireless CarPlay devices. I put value for money at 3/5 stars because I just think all of these things are overpriced. But this one is as solid as any other quality choice.
