Genuine Hyundai 4Z021-ADU01 Roof Cross Bar Set , Black , TBA

Overall, I am very pleased with these crossbars. I initially attempted to go the cheaper route and purchased aftermarket bars, the same ones found all over eBay and Amazon. I was very displeased with the aftermarket bars after installation. The fitment was not nearly as precise and, therefore, left play in the crossbars, the kind of play that loosens with road vibration over time.So I ordered these instead. Not only do they fit perfectly, but they are also lower profile and cause less wind noise than the bulkier aftermarket variety crossbars. They also look very nice and appear that they will be more weather resistant than the similar aftermarket products.See my before and after photos.

The SF cross bars were easy to install once the jaws of the clamps were opened wide enough (quite wide actually) to accept the roof rails. It's interesting that the front rail is several inches longer than the rear. In any event, they work well with the sliding glass sunroof on my 2014 SF Sport. I suspect the reason Hyundai says "Don't install" is that they fear some cargo tied to the cross bars will hang down below them and interfere with the slider. So that must be the primary concern in using them with the sunroof. Other than that, all is fine. They are handsome, quiet, and functional, all as hoped for.

2015 Santa Fe Limited V6 (no sunroof). This item arrived as scheduled and in perfect condition. Follow the easy instructions and you will have them installed under 20 minutes. The item arrived with the OEM instructions. After you install the item it recommends you torque them down using a torque wrench and T-30 socket to 8 N.m. I purchased the T-30 socket at Lowes for $5. The torque wrench that works at 8 N.m can get expensive $100+, luckily my neighbor had one. The money you saved on this might make it worth it to pay an auto shop to torque it "after" you install and tighten them. Yes, I think you should torque to specs, after I tightened them by hand, I was surprised how much more they needed to still be tightened. On another note I purchased the "Malone Big Foot Pro Universal Car Rack Canoe Carrier with Bow & Stern Lines by Malone Rack" and it fit perfectly on the cross bars. I carried a 16 foot canoe and no movement.

Easy install, looks great! We could not get our car top carrier to fit no matter how we spaced the bars. We bought a different one and had the same issue. Ended up having to drill extra holes in the carrier to get it to work. Not sure if other carriers would work better, but wanted to mention these bars do not work universally for all car top carriers.

Came in Hyundai well protected OEM packaging. Fit our 2017 Santa Fe with low profile rails just fine. Instructions are clear. Comes with a simple torx 30 L shaped wrench. This can be a one person job but it helps to have another person on the other side to help guide and prevent scratching. I did not notice any increased wind noise at highway speeds after installation. Well made and fairly priced. It took a little time to arrive from NY to CA but not excessively long given winter wx back east.

The racks fit my 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe. They look great and were easy to install. The only downside was that it was missing one of the black caps for the hex bolt. It's aesthetic, but still.

Just received this item without any issues and the shipping was fast. Just want to add some feedback regarding the panoramic sunroof issue. I have a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T Limited with the panoramic sunroof and purchased these for my large size Yakima car top storage box. Yes, I was concerned with the sunroof but when I have the storage box on top, I simply do not use the sunroof nor do I need to use it. I will place a piece of tape over the sunroom button while my car top carrier is in place. If you want to use these cross bars on your Santa Fe AND want the sunroof open, it simply WILL NOT WORK if using a car top carrier. I measured the clearance between the open sunroof and the bottom of the front cross bar and it is very marginal. Only about 15mm. I needed about 25mm for it to work. I am keeping them anyway because it will be functional for me. The sunroof WILL open safely with the bars in place. I tried it and it was no problem. As long as what you have on top of the bars does not hang down underneath them very much. Apparently the ones made for the panoramic sunroof are quite high and look awkward on the vehicle. Plus they are significantly more $$. So all in all I am happy with these and the price I paid compared to Hyundai dealer price.
