Creative ZEN Air SXFI earbuds with impressive sound quality.
Creative ZEN AIR SXFICreative and I go back decades as I was one of the huge fan of Soundblaster sound cards since 90s and I love Creative speakers. Actually I still have Creative pebbles speakers as I am now over 50 and prefer quality over volume. I still use Creative HD cam etc but this is the first time I have got Creative Zen Air pods.I do have other brand Earpods and I paid more than these for some of them. These Zen Air pods are very well designed and sooner you see them and hold them in your hands, you want to connect them straight to Bluetooth and listen to the sound. Like all the earbuds in the market now a days it comes with charging case which flips open, USB-C port and cable with few extra silicone ear pieces as well as a string bag to carry them.It features SXFI Spatial audio control but you have to download App and register an account to customise noise cancelling as well as touch controls but I am not a fan of downloading extra Apps and especially don't like registering accounts to enable features. I did look at the App on Google Play and rating is so bad that I thought I can live without it.Sound quality is excellent but it is not any better or worse than other brands I have reviewed previously. Pairing with my Samsung Galaxy S24 plus was easy and my typical usage is about 2 hours a day so it last over 10hours before you put the buds back in the case to recharge. Case can provide over 3 charging before it needs a recharge using cable and your mobile charger. Therefore I am impressed with battery life and high fidelity sound.Call quality is crystal clear as it is equipped with 6 microphones for better gain and noise cancelling. Earbuds can effectively cancel all ambient noise but I like to be aware of my surroundings but to reduce level of noise cancelling, you need to download the App. All the customisation is through App.Overall an excellent quality Earbuds by one of the Leading brand at a very reasonable price. Value for money in my humble opinion.

Nice sounding earbuds but the jury is still out on SXFI
Creative Zen Air SXFI Earbuds.A comfortable pair of earbuds of which I enjoyed using. Pairing with my phone was straightforward.Using my usual mp3 app, I found the sound pleasant to listen to with a good balance between the high and low range. My problems began when I downloaded the Super SDXI App. Firstly with over 100K downloads and only 2.4 stars didn't fill me with confidence. I set up a creative account and I was able to access all my device music. Again, the sound and app navigation were good.In the app, it failed to recognise my earbuds. This I found strange because I could listen to music on the app.I also tried the head mapping. The right ear and face scanned ok. I presume ok because they came up green. My left ear wouldn't scan at all.The main selling point of these ear phones is the SXFI and if that doesn't work, there is plenty of other competitive ear phones out there.Another consideration is that any mp3 player will require to have a camera to fully access the SXFI features.Overall, a nice product of which I will continue to use and I can certainly recommend them for comfort, battery life and sound, but the jury is still out on SXFI.

Good quality ear buds
These CREATIVE ear buds come in a very nice case along with the usual extra buds, USB cable and a nice little pouch to keep everything in.I've been using some Motorola Moto Buds almost daily for a while now and they've performed really well so changing to these Zen Air buds was a nice surprise. For starters they're about 1/3rd cheaper than the Moto Buds and seemingly offer, for my use case, identical or better functionality. The sound quality does seem to be roughly the same, maybe a little better, but for the music genres I listen to they're very good. I rarely use ear buds for calls but I did try these and the sound quality at both ends was very good.Battery life seems to be pretty decent, I usually only wear them for a couple of hours each day so they're always charged when going back into the case but I'm not having to charge the case every day so they're lasting quite a while. What I really liked about these, which I don't have on my Moto Buds, is the ability to pair to two devices and in all honesty I can't believe this isn't standard nowadays!I'm pretty happy with these, they do seem to be a bit of a bargain but depending on your music taste they may be more than you need.
