I liked it
Okay, first things first. The grammar throughout the book needs improvement. The author would definitely benefit from a professional editor who would be able to spot run-on sentences and words that are incorrectly used. Having said that, my further thoughts on this book are entirely positive. In my opinion, the author definitely knows how to keep readers on their toes with a wildly engaging and suspenseful plot, and she simultaneously has a knack for accurately portraying day-to-day life as well. The author clearly has talent; all she needs is a good editor and she'll go far. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

Wow......
Who published this? Seriously? My third grader has fewer grammatical errors than this whole book, and she's just learning how to write paragraphs and essays. That being said, I enjoyed the storyline. I would love to read more about these characters, however the numerous errors made this into something I wanted to take a red pen to and less of a story that I could enjoy after a stressful day.

Disturbed.....
The only reason why I am disturbed is because Murk was actually 34 years old. He could of at least been in his early 20's. The "best friend" title has got to go. Yes this got on my nerves, it was ridiculous and redundant. We do not talk like that in South Carolina. The reasons why I am giving this book three stars is because, I am from South Carolina, and I am familar with the places in the story. Second, this type of drama happens all the time; the storyline is believeable. The 5 star reviews had to be from family and friends that's proud of the author; which is nothing wrong with that, but be truthful. There was some typos, but it was not that bad. I just need to know is this one of those junior high fictional novels, because it was written that way. There was not any details about the sex in this book. Maybe this book was mis-categorized. All in all the author has potential.

Too many errors!!
OK This book was an alright read kept me entertained for the most part BUT it was so many misspellings and things worded completely wrong I stayed too fustrated. It was very distracting but ok for a free read. I just cant believe how Shonique and Murk could be so grimey to her own sister she has actually been more of a mom & she betrayed her like that! Not sure if ill pay for part 2 cause of the many errors in part 1 But I may give in because I really want Jessica to get her payback on her low down hubby and tryvalin whore of a sister...u lose em how u get em

Is the author really serious?!
Wow... I have read my share of urban drama books fraught with errors, but I must say, this one takes the prize for most juvenile writing to date! Initially I intended to scale back on my opinion of the author's lack of writing skills due to her age, but figured I am doing the author and fellow readers a disservice by not being completely honest. I am usually VERY forgiving and fair with errors but Dag!!!This book had some serious potential. The story was straight and kept me interested. However, the horrendous writing totally ruined it for me. You don't even understand...there are countless instances of word misuse, incorrect spelling, incorrect tense, capitalization errors...the whole nine yards. I mean she couldn't even get the slang spelled correctly. WHAT THE WHAT?!The author's Amazon bio says she is 17...what a sad state of affairs our country is in if a 17-year-old can't even write. At least I got my monies worth on this purchase... $ .00. I'm interested in what happens in book 2, but I'm going to have to go ahead and pass on that one. I won't even download it for free to be honest.

Considering the grammar errors it's still a good book many people don't think that thing like this happens in real life. I enjoyed every minute of it I can emphasize with Jessica and I can see where this will lead can't wait to read the other books. I hope the grammar errors in them won't be as many or over looked so it will make for a better read. But once it doesn't take away from the content of the story line great job young lady keep on writing. I say try it you will enjoy the story

Annoying!!
This book was VERY annoying!! The dialog was amateurish "best friend this and best friend that", on top of the misuse of the English language (what did he said)...just ANNOYING!! Murk...really?? Your 15-year old sister in law?? I actually had to see who the author was and realized she is very young and this is her first book....but even though the storyline has me curious, I will not purchase part 2. Hopefully, the author has matured and the editing is much better....but no can do!!

Great storyline.
First of all I'll like to say i loved reading this book. Storyline is captivating and held my attention throughout the book but i did find it at a disadvantage as the punctuation was terrible, not to say some was missing it was just in the incorrect places which slowed down my reading process. Nonetheless the writer has a talent for storytelling but needs to address this issue. If this issue wasn't in place would have given it 5 stars.
