Better than you'd think.
I have a few different variations of this mini pedal envelope filter. This one doesn't sound the same as the others. The Donner is muddier, but good. The Sonicake is peakier & has a slight wah notch when turned on. And the Wow Wah from Joyo has a completely different EQ sweep, and has strangely gurgled a few times like my SolidGoldFX Funk Lite ( which is an awesome filter for think fuzzes, and definitely isn't a cheap pedal - that pedal is all pro ) ...BTW, this AI Tone pedal is not an "automatic time synced filtering wah", thus, it is not really an auto-wah - it is a "pick sensitive envelope filter".The pedal actually has some " waomp" to it.Also has better potentiometer ranges than all of the cheap envelope filter pedals 9n the market. And doesn't initially color your tone when turned on. Nor does it suck your tone off or on.Has plenty of moments that are indistinguishable from the EHX QTron in low-pass mode, yet certain doesn't have all the sweet spots, but close.Of Which, this was the happiest of surprises about this pedal = I can find all my QTron settings on it.I ended buying 2 of them.

Just what I was looking for!
I'm working on a solo live electronic set, and when I saw this something clicked and I had to have it. I already have a serious (and seriously expensive) looper in the BOSS RC-500, so I didn't get this for actual looping. Instead, I got it as a long storage/playback unit, and I'm in the process of filling the 48 10:00 slots with various solo synth tracks with long attacks and decays. As such, it doesn't need to sync with anything, it just plays some sparse synth sprinklings on top of whatever I'm playing. Downsides: you can't sync it with anything, and it's mono. But sound quality is excellent and it stores up to 8 hours of audio, albeit in maximum 10 minute chunks. I have it going through a volume pedal, so I can fade it in and out at will. I love it!

I like it!
I have several loopers but so far this is the easiest to use and it stores the loop in any of 48-10 minute areas. I've only had it a few days, but already put down 5 loops that I can jam/sing over. So far, very good!

Wont turn on with pedal board switch
I saw this review as I was looking because I have the exact same issue. I have several other pedals and they all turn on fine except this one I my Donner Looper which does the same thing. "I wish I could give this pedal more stars, I like the effects. However, there is a problem with it. Every time I power up the pedal board this unit will not turn on. You have to take the power jack out and plug it back in for it to work. This is the second pedal that this is happening with. I returned the first that was doing the exact same thing. You shouldn’t have to perform that step every time you want to use that pedal."

No transformer included
Didn't come with the transformer but kicks out the sound I was looking for.

This 5-star product deserve only 3 -- stupid reason too: bottom panel won't accept velcro tape
Fabulous auto wah by the way. Very happy with it. Works well. You can dial in the threshold better than any other I've tried. I'd have loved to give it 5 stars, but I can't. You'd think that a company who makes effects pedals would have made sure that people who buy this to place on a pedalboard actually can. The rubber bottom will not accept any kind of stick-on velcro tape. The velcro buttons sort of stick, but they come loose due to the rubbery material used. This pedal will fall off the board during use and transport. So frustrating. I may work out some kind of custom metal brace to get it to stay put because I do like it and would like to keep using it.I have lots of pedals with a painted metal bottom that velcro tape sticks amazingly well on. They included stick on rubber feet as well. In the age of pedalboards, putting a rubbery bottom that resists even the stickiest of industrial hook & loop tape is a terrible design choice.

Great for jamming or writing
This is a great tool for getting your basic song idea down on a mobile phone voice recorder etc. and you don't want to load up pro-tools, logic etc.
