Carbon Fiber… YES!!
Right out of the box this T700 carbon fiber paddle feels great. My wife and I are just now entering our second year of pickleball. We are by no means experts or even professional players. More in the area of intermediate beginners which is a 3.0- 3.5. But we have tried a number of paddles. Like my wife says, the paddle will choose you.I mountain bike 3-4X a week and my bike is made from t700 carbon fiber. It is super lightweight and incredibly strong so I know these paddles will stand to the test of time.My control of the ball is – not great – but good, so a lightweight paddle is what I am always on the lookout for. This paddle is right up my alley. With this being made from T700 Carbon fiber it is light enough for me to have extended play before my old and aging arm gives out. I love the handle; it is thick, and it is extended just enough for me to really try to power some shots. This handle honestly feels like my tennis rackets. The face is thick, but it gives clean power and great control. I can actually put more spin on the ball now. These are a great set of paddles for beginners like my wife and I and are at an amazing price.

Intermediate, Good Power, Bad Grip, Small Sweet Spot, OK for Spin
Always happy to try out a T700 carbon fiber paddle because it's so ductile - if it has a good, soft core - and it allows me to spin the ball and play a control game. That's not this paddle. I would say this is a power paddle but it's too thick to be that at 16mm. And I can't really say it's a compromise all-around paddle because it doesn't do either power or spin/control very well, at least not for a T700 in this cost range. It's long, and narrow, which does affect the sweet spot, and moves it farther out from where your hand is (also from longer grip that's too large of a diameter, BTW) so finding that sweet spot is the first chore you must undergo. Once you have it, you're OK, and consistency is good. REACH IS GREAT, and if you're always just barely dinging the ball of the end of your paddle and missing those distant shots, this paddle will give you that extra cm or two and you might catch more of them.Surface is good with the raw carbon fiber so you can actually apply spin to the ball, but since the core is not ductile enough, the ball doesn't pause on the paddle face long enough to gain control over it, but it pauses too long to get the kind of power increase you might hope to get with this type of paddle. I think the problem is in the design, not the execution, because it's well-built and solid and tight, and maybe with some time it will grow on me. That's why the 4-stars instead of just 3. I think I need to give it more of a chance and find what it's good at - because there are probably players out there who will benefit from this, just not me.For being well-built and having nice materials and for consistency of shots and decent (not great) spin and control with decent (not great) power, I do give this a RECOMMEND to buy, but I would ask you to consider the aspects I experienced in the above details and see if those would be desirable for you.

good value
This paddle offers good value. It's an intermediate paddle that's priced as a beginner's paddle. The carbon fiber is T700, not to be mistaken with Toray T700. The carbon fiber on this one may not hold up over time the same way or provide the same performance, but it's still pretty good for the price. It's not all that well balanced per se, but the lightness of the paddle offsets any discomforts.

a great pickleball paddle
this is a sturdy and lightweight pickleball paddle. it has a a 135mm extended handle that feels great in your hand and is very comfortable to use for long periods of playing. the paddle surface is carbon fiber and is working great and will help put some spin on the ball. it comes with a cover to keep the paddle protected and keep it looking great and safe. it is great because you can keep it in your car or truck and it will be safe. it is a little more on the expensive side but over all is a great paddle to keep with you for playing.

Great paddle!
Very nice paddle! I am very impressed with the quality of this paddle, it is a lot nicer than the one I was using before that I got for beginners. I love the nice carrier it comes with as well. Highly recommend for any beginner’s or intermediate players!
