Made riding position more comfortable.
These bars helped reduce backache when riding, being narrower than the old bars made for more speed due to less drag particularly into wind. Good buy.

Good product.
Good product at this price, there are better, but these do the job.

Not suitable for replacing straights on some mountain bikes. In my opinion.
Decent handlebars but a bad choice for me. I changed my straights to make riding more comfortable on my back. I should have changed the stem and left my straights on because there is not enough room for brake and gear levers to put them where you need them. The bends dictate the angle which my gear levers have to sit and that puts my brake levers at an awkward angle. I should have foreseen this. Other than this they are fine.

Much more comfortable than standard
I bought these because my Halfords Carrera "Hybrid" cycle was far too much like a standard mountain bike for comfort. These raised the riding position nicely and were also more comfortable for the wrists because they are also swept backwards (more natural position than straight bars).

Good quality/price
At 560mm, these Hi-rise handlebars (or "Dutch" or "Sit Up And Beg") are as narrow as you want to go with for replacements for your uncomfortable old 'bars.I installed these on a 28" frame (?) Cross Malvern and they fitted perfectly. Hopefully, I can now say goodbye to getting a sore neck and arms and shoulders. With most bikes sold now being hybrids, I'd wager that a lot of crumblies returning to cycling for the first time since childhood probably find the typical riding posture on hybrid bicycles hard to put up with after a while and find themselves spending a few days recovering from longer bike rides because of this annoying insistence on manufacturers retaining the hybrid road bike/mountain bike riding position! In closing, unless you're a child or small adult, get 660mm wide bars or you'll barely have enuff room for brakes, gear shifters, bells, reflectors and safety lights, etc!
